  I see a lot of reviews complaining about poor controls, bugs, just in general poor polish of the game. I can confirm that the singleplayer of this game no longer has any of such issues in february of 2022. (windows 10) Some other reviews are just pure gibberish, presumably by religious fanatics that do not like the loosely applied christian theme of the game. The truth is, if you liked hotline miami, then you will probably like this game. The gameplay is clean, fast, and fun. It is definitely easier than hotline miami and has less content, but it makes up for that by having skills to play around with, and the gimmick of having 2 different characters. I have beaten the game, and I am definitely going to pump a few more hours into it.

  A high speed game that need precise aim skill. With controller, it's not really fun to play.

  Short and fun game with cool gameplay and interesting mechanics that are not polished enough, the game is pretty easy if you keep baiting the enemies into a corner. Looks interesting for a speedrun. Plays better with a controller.

  Cool gameplay which of course remind of Hotline Miami series. Really enjoyable, even addictive I would say. :) Not as easy as some reviews said. Many skills and additional moves compared to Hotline Miami, hard to remember them all. ;) Nice graphic style. Really fits the cinematics as well.

  Great game! Immersive. Nice level design. Fast pace. Good graphic and awesome music. No rush - you need to think/plan next move. Fully recommended.

  fast paced and challenging gameplay fanstastic soundtrack great graphics and art style creative variations in level designs and enemy types deep skill tree with mulitple customization options for each ablity to allow different approaches as someone who already loved the hotline miami series this game is godsend

  It's like Hotline Miami but with coop! EDIT: This review considers only coop playthrough (never intended to play it solo and problably the expirpience would be "meh" like). As coop game God's Trigger is just awesome. It demands hard cooperation not only in fights but also in clearing puzzles. Coordination in such fast-paced action dash-shooter game feels great. Game might not be that long, but after finishing it, I already can't wait for another run.

  Fun game with a great concept and good feel. One critical flaw: you don't appear to be able to change the mouse cursor settings to use that of the hardware cursor. This leaves me with mouse acceleration stuck on (which I don't use) and a slower max mouse sensitivity than I want. As a game that relies of the feeling of flow, this really takes me out of it. I highly recommend the devs put in the ability to use Windows' cursor settings. If you do use pointer acceleration and can get the sensitivity within your desired range, it's a great game.

  [b][i]God’s Trigger[/i][/b] follows the unlikely partnership of an Angel from Heaven and a Demoness from Hell as they attempt to stop the apocalypse. Shoot your way through chaotic gunfights using an arsenal of weapons and upgradable special skills. While the game can be played solo, it’s primarily focused on couch co-op. Even though it might look like [i]Hotline Miami[/i] on the surface with the top down ultra violence, [b][i]God’s Trigger[/i][/b] has some departures that really make this one of it’s own. You’ll go from room to room eliminating enemies, in a lot of cases quite literally beating them to the punch. The henchpeople explode into a red mist that undoubtedly coats the bottom of your boots and it’s time to rinse and repeat! Special abilities are readily available at the mercy of an energy bar, but in order to efficiently work your way through a room, you become dependent on the creative use of each. You will die. You’ll run right into that bullet, seeing it come at you in slow motion, or one too many enemies will overwhelm you to the point of locking up any train of thought. You’ll have to figure out smart ways to get around things, and that’s what gives this title so much depth. [b][i]God’s Trigger[/i][/b] does enough to stand out in this niche genre of top-down twitchy twin-stick shooters. The graphical design, while not everyone’s cup of tea, is very stylish and bright. The sound design is very well done and its performance is faultless.
