  I've over 200 hours playing this gem, and after the latest update I felt compelled to leave a long overdue review. This game is fantastic, easy to get into and hard to quit. And with the hard work of the development team and their new update, well I can't wait to see all of the goodness that awaits me. Bravo!

  This is easily the most addicting game on steam. There is no game that can even be compared. I've played for 731 hours. I started 2018 so i'm a OG. I remember when the owner was becoming a father. I wish your child the best.

  This is an excellent game, for those who either want to play a relaxing sim game of building your own medieval town, or to play against AI to have a bit of a challenge. It was exactly what I was looking for - a game I can immerse myself in post-work that caters to my level of feel (chill v.s. challenge). I love the soundtrack, the pixel art style, and that there was the parks DLC to decorate the town. I hope there will be updates to this game as it is really fun!

  Overall it's a cute game. It reminds me a bit of Sim City or Settlers. The entire point is city building, and, depending on the difficulty or how you set up your game, there might be some challenges to it or it may just be you against the landscape trying to figure out how to create a massive, sprawling city. The graphics, while nothing super sophisticated, look sharp and well designed. The graphics are a bit more simplistic than the screenshots let on, but the charm quickly grows on you. It helps that it is consistent and seems stylized. Perhaps my biggest gripe about this game is that there isn't a tutorial and no tooltips (at least, none that I saw). So you just kind of get thrown into everything not knowing what certain things do. For example, I didn't realize that I'd have to pay librarians, firefighters, and an assortment of other individuals salaries before plopping them down. Similarly, it appears that when you destroy a building, some resources are left behind. But I can't be sure. For some reason, you're not allowed to select them, only the ground below. I'm curious about plopping down a transport cart, but again... must I pay a salary? Who knows. I think that more tooltips would be hugely beneficial. Overall, if you like any type of city builder, you'll probably like this. And it doesn't seem overly difficult, so it's a nice way to unwind after a stressful day.

  Time really flies when you're playing this game. It's got just the right balance of challenge and downtime, art style is simple but clear, and the latest additions such as AI kingdoms keep bringing you back for more, if you're into city-building simulations, you really can't go wrong with this.
