  This game provides a very fun experience and I totally recommend other to try it out! I've played it years ago when I was younger, and the fun I've had is still present, in fact I'd say it's even more so in some aspects. There's many different playstyles to be had, especially with the multiple playable characters to choose from. You can go in it completely like a ninja, silent and deadly! One of the characters, Shun, is an archer who's pretty much made for more stealthy approaches from afar. Of course, you're not limited to stealth. You can go in and take everything at once, rushing into battle. This isn't always the wisest choice, though. There could be dozens of enemies hitting you from every angle, from far away or right in your face, which can end in death. But in situations that don't quite rely on stealth as much, you can go wild with it, in the end, it's up to you to see what fits you best. The same could be said about all the different ninjas. They all have their own weaknesses and strengths, different approaches to them, and you should totally play around and see which characters you prefer to play! The game has a bit of a story, although it's nothing complex nor does it have a ton of depth, but that's fine! It's meant to be there to set up a bit of world building and give you a reason for everything that's happening. The extras you unlock throughout the game also help to give insight into all the ninja's backstories. Now, the gameplay isn't limited to just fighting. You have quite a fair share of platforming and different ninja stunts, such as running along the walls, climbing ledges, all of that. It's not only for progression, but also for general secret areas! I encourage exploring every map, first off for practical reasons, such as finding ingredients for potions, scrolls containing spells, and maybe you'll stumble across some of the jizo statues (You'll surely find some obvious ones, but many can be in the most obscure spot ever, or hidden in plain sight! Which made my quest of getting all statues more challenging, but fun) The music in the game also does a great job in immersing you more in the different places you'll be going to, also helped by the lighting and overall style! In my opinion, it all holds up well even now. There's a lot more to the game, but when it comes down to it, it's a nice experience with some challenges, and I do think people should give it a try and see for themselves! It's good if you have nostalgia for it, but even without it it's enjoyable!

  I grew up playing this game as a kid! so i bought it again to re-experience all of it once again! 10/10 - would recommend playing it.

  Was originally a game for my mum my dad bought on the 360 so that's how I came across this game. But it's an old hidden masterpiece of a game that I really enjoy but its yet so simple. Recommend this game 10/10
