  Great graphics, great story, has a few weaknesses but these don't matter much. Highly recommend.

  Quite possibly the perfect sequel to the first game. Every imaginable thing is greatly improved and expanded upon, making this title a genre classic with a gorgeous art style and entertaining gameplay.

  Well first off... If u haven't played the first one...get on that. As for this one game... play it. Graphics, amazing for a 2D game. story touching and cute. Music score, top notch. gameplay, smooth, fun, and challenging at times. If you like 2D games and somehow haven't played this game yet. you are definitely missing out.

  I don't remember much of the first game, besides that I really liked it. I got to this one pretty late, but I enjoyed it as well. The biggest strength is the movement; it feels amazing flying around the map with multiple jumps, boosts off enemies and their projectiles. You need to unlock a few abilities, takes maybe 90-120 minutes before the game really opens up and becomes a lot more enjoyable IMO. Once it did I was all in, up until that point I was a bit bored. The combat is easily one of the weakest parts of the game. If you've played games like Hollow Knight and Blasphemous 2 to name a few examples, you're gonna be pretty let down by this aspect of the game. I honestly enjoy the escape sequences from the original Ori more than any of the boss fights here which are all super easy. The combat is so strange because everything is easy, but at the same time, making the enemies more challenging wouldn't necessary make it better because the attacks you have kinda just suck and feel underwhelming. I also found it really annoying that you can only have 3 abilities equipped at once; most games like this would typically allow you to use all your abilities via different button inputs, or a better control scheme so that felt pretty bad. Similar to the original, the game is beautiful, and the music is amazing. It's certainly a game that is more accessible to newer Metroidvania players, and will be more enjoyable if you haven't played some of these other titles that have incredible combat. Regardless, it's still an fun experience and offers music and visuals that are thoroughly enjoyable. Not my favorite, but a good game that I'd recommend.
