Remote Cell Tracker/Remote Mobile Tracker (GCM Based)

Track locations of your mobile remotely using “Cell Tracker”.

Completely Free. No hidden charges

Use Cell Tracker app to keep track of the location of your mobile. Track all the locations you have visited in the last few days with your Android phone. To check the locations visited you have to launch the app and click on “View” buttons. No need to turn on the GPS. This application works even without GPS. The application collects location info once every 30 min through GPRS/Wi-Fi and hence the impact on battery is minimal.

You can the change the frequency of gathering location info to as low as 5 min using settings for better tracks.

NOTE: The "Use Wireless Location" in Settings->Location should be enabled for obtaining the location of the device

There could be an error of around 100 metres in some areas.

How it works

- Install the app

- Enable the check box to enable tracking of your device. The app then collects location info using GPRS or Wi-Fi every 30 min.

- Click on “View” buttons in the app and you will see the tracks of the cell (locations visited) on Google Map view and list view.

- You can choose to disable collecting location info by un-checking the check box in the app's main view

- You can clear all the location information stored by using “Clear data” option in the options menu

- You can export the tracks as text via Email

- You can see your mobile tracks by visiting our website and entering your device ID. Device ID is available in the main view of the app.

Compliance with Google Policy

To be in compliance with Google Policy, we will be showing notification in top bar whenever your location is read/pulled by you from the website. Location will not be uploaded automcatically it will be pulled only when user logs in to the website and request for pull. Location is stored securely in server located in US. Users can optout anytime and clear the details from server either through mobile or from website. The app cannot be used as spy app. Please read EULA carefully before accepting.

Not a Spy app

This app cannot be used as a spy app because

- A notification is displayed whenever the location is read. Also, a notification is shown whenever the user pulls location information of the device. These notification cannot be disabled and will always be shown.

- No data is saved in SD card or any other storage from where the data can be read without opening the app. The location information will be viewed only from within the app or from our website.

- Uninstalling the app clears all the data collected on the device.

Compliance with GDPR policy

Data Collected:

Only location information over a period of time is collected.

Data saved:

Data is saved in app's preferences and, if user pulls the data from our website, then it is saved in server based out of US.

The data collected is kept only for 3 months and is deleted post that.

The data saved on the device gets deleted as soon as the user uninstalls the app. User can choose to erase all the data from the server and device using options provided.
