The application does not run in the background and does not consume battery power, but in order for the system to start a scheduled call at exactly the specified time, it must not be a low priority in the system.

The app requires additional permissions. They must be provided in order to make calls correctly. Important ones are access to calls and to display over other applications. You can not provide access to contacts, as it is used only for the convenience of adding a number from contacts and adding a name to lists.
