As educators; At Aydemav Studio, we aim to develop quality 🎉, safe🔑 and free⚖️ educational content. In line with this goal, we prepared the Turkish Dictionary Game after 20 months of development ⌛️ and published it completely free of charge 🎊.

Turkish Dictionary Game is the first and only project in which the meaning and origin of 5,500 words are presented through gamification. In the game, an original story setup has been developed by field experts to keep the user's motivation high. Accordingly, 10 levels were created from 10 excavation sites in Turkey. Excavation sites are listed chronologically backwards. In order to include the excavation areas in the game, the areas were examined in detail and drawn in vector for this project. By entering the excavation areas in the game, the user can collect gold and open new excavation areas by using the gold as they correctly guess the words given the meaning and origin. With this gamification method, the user is motivated to play the game to learn new words and becomes more insistent to master the required language skill.

Audio and visual feedback is given to the user at every stage of the game. When the user guesses the letter correctly, the green line and the correct sound are given in the background of the excavation area, and the red line and the wrong sound are given if the user guesses incorrectly. With the correct completion of the word, the completion sound plays and the word bonus appears.

There are 5️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ words in the Turkish Dictionary Game. Words; It has 11 different origins: Turkish, French, Arabic, Italian, English, Persian, Serbian, Greek, Mongolian, Greek and Latin. This diverse and rich vocabulary is waiting to be discovered at 10 excavation sites in Turkey.

In the Turkish Dictionary Game, the words whose meaning and origin are given must be guessed letter by letter. During the prediction, the user is given a hint and a pass. The meaning and origin of the missed word can be viewed at the end of the game. As you guess the words correctly, new excavation areas can be opened with the gold collected. Each excavation area has 550 words. Words consist of 2-10 letters.

Every time you enter the Turkish Dictionary Game, the meaning and origin of a new word is displayed at the bottom of the screen. In this way, it is aimed to enrich the user's vocabulary and to consolidate the word-meaning-origin knowledge. There is also a word search menu in the game. In this menu, word search can be done and the last opened words are displayed. To improve the user experience, the game interface is designed in 2 themes, 🌘 dark and ☀️ light. In the game, the user is given a gold prize from the gold pot menu. A random number of gold from the optional pop-up ⚱️ gold pot are awarded after the user watches the ad. In this way, the bonus gold required to open new excavation sites can be collected every 3 hours.
