  While Atomik Fabrik usually resorts to publishing asset flips "USA Truck Simulator" seems to be a different beast. The game was previously published on Apple's and Google's app stores by different companies. It's been delisted on both stores so it's possible Atomik Fabrik got the task of adapting it for and releasing on Steam. Considering the abysmal quality of the game Steam users could very well do without it but handing it to Atomik Fabrik unsurprisingly didn't make things better. The only thing they actually made work is in-app purchases. Because yes, that's a thing in USA Truck Simulator, but they aren't needed in any way - because Atomik Fabrik forgot to remove a debug function adding $1 million to the player's account ... yeah. Not the first time they made that mistake either. This means you can buy anything you want from the get-go without having to spend any real money. Some trucks can only be unlocked by watching videos but as these things are a no-no on Steam you instead just click the "Watch video" button a bunch of times. As for the rest of the game, good lord. Visually this is what an early PS1 title looks like on a 2022 LED screen - muddy, low resolution textures as well as a woefully low poly count on every model. Despite the only in-game option being "graphics quality" there's no real difference between "Low" and "Beautiful". The controls barely work as they haven't been reworked for PC at all. All touch screen elements still exist but have to be used by clicking with the mouse which sucks becaue the mouse also moves the camera. It would have been extremely easy to at least add hotkeys for the various elements but why waste time with things like that? As usual there's no way to exit the game beyond the obvious Alt+F4 method because adding a button is hard work. The audio volume can't be adjusted either. As for the actual game, well, it's nothing to write home about. It's a cheap and shallow knockoff of American Truck Simulator and this shows at every turn. You can do missions to transport goods between cities but that's it. There are various different trucks you can unlock but they don't really make much of a difference either. In the end USA Truck Simulator is the usual garbage from Atomik Fabrik, asset flip or not. Even at 90% off this isn't worth anyone's time. Avoid.

  I LOVE USA TRUCK SIMULAOTR it really makes me feel like im a truck honk honk beep beep thats the noises that come out of my mouth hole thank you success games, very cool! pelase have my babies

  Is this game good? No. Is it fun? Yes. If you are looking for a good trucker game that is accurate and realistic, you are in the wrong place. If you want an insane mess of a train wreck and just want to watch it break, this is what you want.
