  EDIT #2: response for the dev. Yeah man, that's definitely not what either of us saw (in relation to bans)... The admin's name was "Nebula". It looked like negativity suppression beyond removing toxic/destructive users. We made it past the first level, we didn't make it past the parking garage level. Any time someone on our team died it reset everything, it was frustrating/boring enough that we didn't come back after the game crashed to change the difficulty down 1 notch. Don't worry about the discord, I don't need back in. I will say this, if the game improves and I see good feedback I'll come back to give it a second try. But what we saw looked like a quick/dirty early access pump and dump. EDIT: 21k people in their discord and admins are actively banning people who talk negatively about this game. How are there 21k legit people in their discord? Seems like a red flag to me if they can't handle the few people who show up to give feedback. There's no inventory, there's no hints, there's no lore, there's no cool readables/docs, there's no direction, there's no items, there's no health, there's no survival aspects besides "run" and manage stamina. You touch something? YOU DIE, there's no health, and the entire team resets immediately if you selected any difficulty besides easy. Btw good luck running away from stuff, they're so relentless/fast that you're screwed the moment an enemy has their sights on you. All of the difficulties except easy will fuck you if ANYONE on your team dies (instant restarts/punishment). There's also no checkpoints for MP, only SP. Bought this for me and a friend. We played "Into the Backrooms" and saw this one before it came out, expecting what looked like a higher quality and more well thought out game based on the pictures/art. It is not. Also crashed within the first 20 minutes. Absolutely trash. Really annoyed by the super grainy/blurry film grain effect that covers the entire game. Made my eyes hurt, felt like I needed glasses in-game. Refunding.

  Only positive thing about this game is that it conveys the ambience of the concept of "the backrooms" pretty convincingly. If only the creators realised that the ambience is the only thing that makes this game cool and toned down the ridiculous parkour aspect of it a bit, it might be a lot more enjoyable. The big problem is the enemies you encounter: they have certain rules for when they do or don't chase you and how you can escape them. After a run or two in each level generally you will get the hang of it and know how to apply it to get to the end. However at some points the AI is so wacky that the correct "route" to navigate through them becomes extremely precise. Figuring that out at these points feels more like gambling and grinding, and that's not what I bought this game for. Moreover: they have a discord, do not expact any help from there. If you indicate you get stuck on something, you will just get made fun of by the mods for not trying to understand the game. When you give any feedback, they'll respond by basically stating you are not trying hard enough to enjoy the game.
