  Great game. Rimworld RPG meets terraria/starbound with one of the coolest skill trees I’ve seen. Top down action with oversized weapons gives it a bit of Zelda-feel. Progression is steep and it feels really satisfying to get that next set of armor or skill upgrade. Overall 8/10, with potential to become 10/10 with story completion and some quality of life upgrades, as below. Obviously still an early access but for what it’s worth, things I’d love to see: 1) higher level crafting tables should be able to make lower tier items as well 2) food is super un-intuitive, but maybe that’s by design. Feels more like crafting complex potions than a “sweet soup” 3) more automation 4) “unload to nearby crate stacks” should include pack animals 5) a bit more story, maybe one that utilizes materials harvested so there’s a reason to set up farms, etc

  Regret that I didn't find this game earlier. Mechanics are truly well implemented with forethought. Art Style - Rimworld Progression - Terraria Mechanics - Don't Starve :D Food & Farming :D - Minecraft TDLR: This game slaps.

  Fun game. Imo, a mixture of the following: Terraria Rimworld Crashlands Stardew Valley Starbound So if you liked any/all of the above then you'll probably enjoy this. 100%ed the game in 30 hours - though some achievements were more tedious than I'd have liked. My gripe with this game is that it has been in development for over 4 years and yet the content is a bit sparse imo. Once you complete it and get all the achievements (if that's your thing) - there's not much else to do unless you like building pretty bases and stuff or messing around in multiplayer. It also feels like the game isn't very well known/devs didn't work on marketing - the wiki is almost completely empty as well, so I wonder if that's because people don't really have a reason to continue playing once they finish. If devs read this - the best way to make this game more popular is to work on replayability/some kind of gameplay loop to keep people coming back.

  While, the game is in need of some qol changes. There is a lot here for an early access game. Lots of little things to learn. If you are a fan of Rimworld. You will see some similarites. I been playing the game on hard and an expert planet it, and it is quite diffcult. Haven't tried hardcore, and probably wont till i beat the game at least once. Some qol changes i'd like to see (for any devs looking). When a player picks up lost gear from death, if you could make it where the tools go back to the same quick slots that would be fantastic, but if your going for added diffculty i get it. Add a lock on the quickbar so random items that you pick up won't slot automatically. Add a small ammo counter on the ranged weapons or add it next to cursor (been running ranged almost entirely). Make chests at least next to workbenchs capable of feeding mats to work bench, or add a small storage onto workbenches, say 15 slots or so. Sometimes the game runs laggy. My character rubberbands very, very slightly. while just running. You get used to it, but if i had a slight headache. It would be unplayable. Am not certain what is causing the issue. Only bug i've ran into is pet likes to spawn in walls when coming out of portals and entering new floors. Haven't tried multiplayer yet, but seems like it would be a blast. Only beat the goblin king, and was working on the insector one, but was getting demolished by it (sooo, many adds) :). The gene mechanic is amazing. Love that. Pets are nice. Could ask for a few more monster variety, but it isnt a huge deal. I would say it has Valhiem like progression with gear and equipment. If you are looking for a game that has a little bit of everything, with a surpising amount of depth. GET THIS GAME. Its easily a 30$ game. If you want to see some gameplay.   I'm enjoying the game. It has many popular mechanics that made other games classic. Rimworld artstyle, Terraria progression, Dont Starve mechanics all blended together well. For the negative reviews complaining about invasions ruining their fun, there is an option to disable them when you join your world that is really easy to disable. Disregard those reviews/complaints completely.

  I'm gonna be completely honest here. I've put 36 hours into this game, in both solo and co-op worlds. If I had written this review at 35 hours, it would have been a resounding recommendation. I've enjoyed every aspect of the game except for one major part. Keplerth allows you to play the entirety of the game in co-op mode with your friends. That is, up until the final boss, which is accessible only through a portal opened in a single player only area. After 20 hours of enjoying a co-op run quite thoroughly, I had to sit out for the last fight and just watch him stream it over Discord. Now, that obviously is not a detriment to someone playing the game single player. But I cannot in good faith recommend this game in its current state. I would be more forgiving if this was in Early Access and something that was being worked on, but the game has fully launched at 1.0 and this is a colossal oversight by the developers.

  I created a town with only hot tubs, and they're filled to the brim with people who are so addicted they can't leave. They enjoy their upper class lifestyle while I extort money from them. I then use the tax money to buy copper/iron gear, so that I don't have to mine it myself. As I get stronger, the citizens know they're well protected from the aliens and goblins that commonly invade. I defend my hot tubs and they give me money, win-win for everyone! edit: a giant boar destroyed my hot tubs and half of the population
