  Gameplay Loop Warning !

  (I've got 18.0 Hours in the base game and I have played through this dlc) Instead of building upon the unique controls of the original base game, the developers completely removed the core gameplay loop and mechanics of the original game. What you get here is a easy 30 min. beat'em up with uninteresting simple controls. You are now able to roam freely around up and down on the screen. You get unlimited continues by using an old school password system from the menu screen. You also get to play as the new character Hasselhoff. Stay away from this release, or maybe wait for more content. Perhaps the developers will make something more interesting when "Kung Fury 2- The Movie" is finally released. This DLC is just a hassle.

  This DLC cost almost as much as the main game because it is an entire game itself. However instead of the usual play style, it's a side scrolling beat'em up using the same character's and enemies from the main game across multiple levels. It also adds Hoff as a new playable character in every mode but story. It has no voice acting, basic and repetitive fights, and only 3 extra lives with no continues for the entire run. (It does have a password system at least to continue, but resets your score to 0 if used) In my experience it's too easy during majority of the game and frustratingly difficult on the final boss as there is no invincibility after taking damage or reviving, allowing your character to get stun locked to death. Overall this is not an amazing addition, but it has plenty of little references and jokes with the humor you'd expect from the series. Definitely worth it if you're a big fan of the movie or main game!

  A Day at the Beach is a DLC for Kung Fury: Street Rage, but it feels like a different game. The reason is because this game plays different, you can move freely using WASD or arrow keys instead of restricting your moves to only punching left or right. It became more of a side-scroller game, and good news for not-so-skilled gamers like myself, it is easier to beat. Controls are slightly different as well, like you can activate your special move by pressing X anytime after getting 10 combos and not have them automatically activated. You can play this game mode with any of the 4 characters, with a new one, David Hasselhoff. The reason it is easy is because despite only having 5 lives over 3 continues (total 15, and there's still health pickups), there is a "warp code" that allows you to skip to the last level you died in, with all your lives and continues restored. However, the score will be set to 0. If you don't care about that you can beat the game easily, as long as you don't get defeated 3 times in a stage. I think A Day at the Beach is essential if you're going to purchase Kung Fury: Street Rage, because it has a fun and easy story game mode and not to mention most achievements are for this mode. It may be a bit expensive, but no big deal since its kinda like a new game on its own. The only bad thing about this mode is the lack of voice acting, and I hope it might get added one day.
