March of Industry: Very Capitalist Factory Simulator Entertainments Özellikler

PLEASE NOTE: This is intentionally a quick play -- by design, you can beat this game in about an hour. If you have some extra time, after you beat the game you can: unlock achievements, search for all the items, easily mod in your own items, try the new game+ mode, go outside, feed the baby, water the plants, realize you don't have a baby, water the plants again, oh god whose baby is this, eat some chili, eat the plants, etc, etc.

Step 1: Craft weapons

Create products by combining the natural resources of our glorious country. Refine those products to make weapons! How about... vodka + exercise machine = Vladimir Putin's gym shorts? Its manly odor is both powerful and deadly.

Step 2: Automate your factory

Now that you've figured out how to build one weapon, can you make hundreds of them? Build out your factory for mass production with conveyor belts, barriers, pushers, black holes... wait... why did you put a black hole in the factory?! Nooooo

Step 3: EXTREME CAPITALISM!

Now that we're mass producing weapons, we can sell those off and upgrade the factory to build more profitable (and complex) weapons. Discover new technology phases like Sand Age, Copper Age, Iron Age, and the most advanced technology: Potato Age.

Features

  • Craft weapons & create huge factories

  • New Game+ mode

  • Cross-device cloud saving

  • Create your own resources & weapons in the Blueprint DB -- plus share your mods easily with the world via cloud mod sync

  • Full game included, no microtransactions

Simplistic, straightforward gameplay that rewards and progresses based on your experimentality. Simply, you have resources that you put into "input machines" which become new resources. These new resources mix in various combinations with other resources with the ultimate goal of creating weapons which you can then sell. However, this isn't just about experimenting with resources, it's about efficiency and automation and your ultimate goal is to have a fully functioning factory that requires very little input from the player. Slap on a slightly, command and conquer-esque Soviet aesthetic and you have March of Industry. Honestly, I find the core concepts to be a ton of fun and it's actually rather engaging and addicting trying to find new weapon combinations but there is just not enough content here for any type of extended play. Graphically, it's your usual 16 bit, pixelized look and the game becomes rather challenging rather quickly. Thankfully, the game isn't overly punishing and you should be able to rectify any mistakes you make without too much fear of having to start over. Then again, if you make a lot of mistakes then you've very little choice but to start your business all over again. After extended playing, I've found there are a couple of negative issues. First, is the sound can get really annoying really quickly. If you sell items one by one, you have the "narrator" looping so you'll probably end up turning the sound off altogether anyway. Secondly, when resources get bunched up in your input machines, they get cluttered really badly and you have to select the resources one by one... which is sort of a pain in the ass. It'd be nice if the dev could add a double click feature which lets you select all of one resource in a general area or something. The worst problem is an almost complete lack of replayability. Sure you are suggested to restart your factories multiple times but what's the point? If I didn't enjoy the core game concepts so much, this would almost be a complete deal breaker. All in all, it's simple and it's fun. 9.99 isn't a bad price but for the current content, I'd like to see that price go down to about 4.99 or there to be some additional content because the current version of the game can be beat in only a few hours.. Slightly recommended. Gameplay Footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NiZUTdeMBQ

Went in expecting something like Factorio, turns out it has all of the boring set-up and none of the fun automation.

Way too short and boring for the price tag. I beat the game in little under an hour and there isn't much to do after unlocking potato stuff. Just spam Putin's Gym Shorts until you get all the money then forget about the game. It feels more like an early beta rather that something that's supposed to be released already

This game is a cheap clone of big pharma and factorio (coming to steam soon). It lasts maybe an hour of play then it expects you to jump through the hoop of prestiging, like in CoD or idle games. The only difference is in those games prestiging is used to extend the life of the game by forcing you to restart to earn bonuses. In this game, you restart to earn useless machines that are purely convenience. The whole challenge in this game is derived from matching resources together to complete objectives and earn money. Once you prestige you do the exact same thing all over again, with the same knowledge of combinations. It lasts maybe and hour, and after that it's a game all about waiting. Unless you choose to install mods, this game isn't worth the price of admission.

Despite being a huge fan of Factorio and having enjoyed Big Pharma (although that was a little repetitive) I approached this game with an open mind. I had no real expectations that it would be anything other than a relatively casual factory/automation sim. Unfortunately it really isn’t a very good game, which is a shame since it could have been something quite entertaining. I’ll summarise my thoughts as a serious of pros and cons: Pros • It’s fairly cheap • Very easy to get up and running in the game – it’s quite simple and self-explanatory. Cons • Far too simple and the automation side of things is very limited. Loading things into boxes only seems to work some of the time so I still had weapons spilling out onto the floor. • The sound effects are horrendous. I actually ended up switching off the sound after a few minutes of playing. • The controls are very clunky, having to drag and drop things that have fallen of conveyor belts one by one isn’t much fun. Would also be nice if the conveyor belts etc remembered which orientation you last had them in, although that’s just personal preference really. • Very, very repetitive. Really it shows it’s free to play roots and from what I can tell it’s been switched over to a paid model with few changes. TLDR: Don’t bother with this game. If you really have an automation itch that needs scratching wait for Factorio to come on Steam (or buy it from their website now). Failing that if you want something less complex (than Factorio) get Big Pharma.

A few hours worth of game play.... Would not recommend. Play factorio for the same price, and a full actually game. I'm talking 80+ hours for a game of factorio vs a few hours for this game...

Interesting concept, but you quickly run out of anything new, and the limited number of combinations are not very intuitive. Automation is limited and all the materials are unlocked very quickly. Solid engine to build on, but at present it's hardly "release" quality.

Really wasn't expecting it to be what it was. The idea seems really cool and I love these sorts of games but the fact the game tells you absolutely nothing and I slammed my face into a wiki just to find out how to make a carbon based weapon wasn't doing the game any favours. It would have been easy to overlook as a discovery game until the further I got in, it's all about putin's shorts. Combining Vodka and the Internet to make a firewall that makes all porn have realistic writing. Oh how funny(!) This game really does try too hard and passes absolutely nowhere other than the core idea. It seems like a quick rush based off Big Pharma's relative success filled with a bunch of 12 year old "omg im so random xd" humour and it's not cute about it at all.

I agree with others that the game is too short for the price. I understand that the design choice was to allow each play through to be around an hour, focusing on replayability. My disapoitment was after the first play through I found myself doing the same thing over and over again. Pros

It's an automation game
Interesting Non-Grid/Non-Tiled approach
Mod Support, but not really integrated into the game itself.
Humor
Cons

No Tutorial or information on how an object functions
Very short production chains (I believe the max uses 5 items)
Very simple production chains (Combine 1 or Combine 2 items)
Very little replayability. No randomness... (outside of one unlocked machine each new game+) Everything is the same, No Events, No Quests( Random Orders)
Only supports Just In Time Manufacturing, All machines are either on or off. If you get backed up, you stop your production chain by moving parts out of the way.
Only 10 Achievements. Again for a game about replayability this seems counter.
Sound is painful, I had to turn mine off.
Automation is limited, simple, repeditive nothing like Factorio or FortressCraft Evolved.
As of 10/8/2015 The developer says he might be adding more content, but that players can mod easy. http://forums.8bitmmo.net/index.php?/topic/7935-are-there-any-plans-to-continue-work-in-this-game/
As the game is alright ive gotten more enjoyment out of watching 40 width divisions fight in Hearts of Iron 4 on 1 speed.
