  If you're looking for an arcade-like snowboarding game, you might want to look elsewhere. If you love physics based games and want the most authentic snowboarding "feel" game -- look no further. This game is complex and deep in all the right ways. I'm still hot garbage but I'm slowly picking up and learning how the physics work and perfecting it.   This is by far the smoothest, most realistic and immersive snowboarding game i've played. Controllers are really, really good! Once you get the hang of them you can ride just like the pro's in real life. Beeing developed by one guy, who is constantly in contact with the players through discord and/or emails, you will get your mind blown.. I'm absolutely recommending this game! Played with xbox 360 controller, everything works, just plug and play.

  Best snowboarding game ever, by far. I can understand the average arcade gamer who never touched a board, comparing games like IA to TSG. Like i can understand them having fun while playing THPS, didn't we all? But The Snowboard Game is like skateboarders discovering Skate when we were only used to THPS. TSG is instantly next level. It goes even further in realism. The only reason you can eventually land a quad cork 2520 off a cliff is because you won't DIE trying 50 times, unlike in real life. The physics are super realistic like never before in a snowboarding game. It's this realism that I personally crave, I want the game to look exactly like real life in style, speed, height, everything. I mean, watching replays is almost like watching a snowboarding video, not a video game. -> https://youtu.be/AMcUVMfPJjI Every single pationnate snowboarder should try this game. If you were able to spend so much time practicing snowboarding, surely you can take 2 hours to learn gamepad controls. Not rocket science. The reward is absolutely worth it and replayability is just like real life, doing tricks for the sake of it.

  THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST SNOWBOARDING GAME MADE TO THIS DAY! I mean it feels so realistic! only a few things i wish for them to add! tune up the multiplayer becuase i dont understand how it works, and make it so you can ride the lifts back up to the top! first person would be the tits aswell! if you are considering buying this just go ahead and get it!

  After over a year of not logging on to Snow the game, and multiple attempts to get into Steep...I googled "Realistic Snowboard game like Snow." and found a reddit thread about "The Snowboard Game" and decided to give it a shot. This game itches that scratch I've had since Skate, and that I was initially hopefully Snow would fill. The controls are fluid, but I could use a guide to explain them more in-depth such as carving and slowing down. The game runs smooth on the highest settings, and so far the overall environment is very pretty. Similar to the Skate. games, initially it takes your brain a minute to rewire, but once you get it down, the controls are very fluid. I would like a feature to be able to unbind in the future so I can line up better. So far, in the hour or so I've played, this game has delivered on the things both Steep and Snow did not. I am very excited to see if there will be future development. My only real complaint is, I can adjust some settings I would like to change. I want to be able to control the music volume and SFX volume on their own. Also, I like the simple name, but it will only be effective for marketing and searchability if you have a web presnce. Right now, it is hard to even google and find material on the game. Build out a subreddit, build out a discord, integrate the community presence better into the game. With a name like this that generates so many other search results, Google Ad Words or Analytics wouldn't even know how to filter out data right now. I want to see more people playing this game which would result in additional funding which would result in even better features being integrated. Off topic, but market this beast of a game.

  This book CAN be judged by its cover. The *snowboarding* here is a beautifully made virtual take on the real experience. If you're into that sort of thing, buy it! I am, I did, no regrets. BUT. [i]I'll make an edit here, three weeks later. Disregard my rambling below. I leave it up for clarity/transparency but none of this matters, really. This game has the best and truest snowboarding you can experience at home.[/i] I think this gem also shoots itself in the foot by being too much of a game and too little of a toy. In order to progress, to unlock new mountains, you have to... I don't know what. Gather XP, win challenges? It doesn't tell me. All I know is that those very specific challenges - do a race in under a certain time, do a Melon that scores 400 points, do this'n that, busywork, try again - are in stark, annoying contrast to what seems to and easily could be the core of "The Snowboard Game". STILL. It's good. Get it.

  I can't believe this was developed by one person. Everything about this game is just mind blowing. Graphics, animations, physics, you name it! No snowboarding title comes even close. NOTE: It's been a while since any update news have been posted on Steam, however; this game is very ACTIVELY DEVELOPED. New features/tweaks pop every week on experimental branch and the developer is addressing any surfacing issues very quickly on Discord. Highly recommended!

  This is the Session of Snowboarding! It's actually realistic, smooth and just str8 flowing. Starting off is like learning to actually snowboard for the first time and the more you practice, the better you get and the smoother you ride, trick and land! It is VERY rewarding. This is a true sim. Also it's online so you have real players all around you which makes the world feel so alive!! Oh and, the community is gotta be the best I've ever met anywhere. TsG (The Snowboard Game) has a discord server that I'd imagine most all the players are on. They are super helpful and just generally seem like the are happy to have you joining the crew. Everyone is easy to talk to and the chat is active. There is an in game chat too which people actually talk to you and super friendly. That's not all though, just like Session, TsG allows modding to!!! So you can get custom gear like DC or any of that. There are modders on the discord that have made all types of really awesome gear! They post links to it in the discord to so you can add them to your files and have them. I've even seen some dude post a picture of his board irl and a modder made it for him in game! I can't believe I didn't find this game sooner. I'd defiantly say BUY THIS. Support the cause. This and Session should be the new standard for skateboarding and snowboarding. It may not be for everyone though. If you really enjoy being able to jump in a game and do super crazy unrealistic stuff, this isn't your game. If you enjoy realism, practicing and self improvement and the reward that comes with it like IRL, This is it!
