  This is an interesting pack, and I won't be surprised if it quickly becomes one of the more 'hit-and-miss' type. None of the animals here are particularly major or highly requested additions, but they all fill needed niches in the game. We have more small animals now in the lynx and badger, more common hoof-stock and (hopefully later) walkthrough species in the fallow deer, and the ibex as a more exotic but still iconic ungulate for zoos. Outside of the aquatic pack, this is probably the only pack where the small animal count doesn't leave too much missing from the given region. From what I see the community would have liked to have seen wolverines and wild boar sneak in, but a very solid roster, if lacking the broad firepower we've seen historically from Polar Bears, Anteaters, Kangaroos, Sea Lions, Penguins, Meerkats, etc. The scenery, similarly, is very nice but lacking any big slam-dunk pieces. Chainlink fences, flexicolor traversable rocks, fuller and higher quality grass, the rusted metal of australia, these were highly anticipated and celebrated peices and themes from previous packs that dramatically changed how players built their zoos. The new flexicolor cobblestone build sets are definitely nice, but I'm not sure they will majorly change how anyone builds a zoo or inspire players to redo existing sections. Decals sound like a nice idea, but currently only constitute various forms of scratches on walls. In game supported food-cars are very nice but that's the only thing that really stands out. I can't help but feel this pack would have been the perfect place to introduce carousels, an iconic zoo ride, or perhaps guests feeding animals with the fallow deer. And that leads to some of the downsides of the pack. While everything above is largely positive, there are some frustrating elements that feel like oversights. The fallow deer is the iconic walk-through ungulate species, and yet, just like the red kangaroo was, it cannot be a walk-through animal. Multiple packs after Australia, the kangaroo was finally designated a walk-through species, and so I can only hope that at a sooner pace the fallow deer gets the same treatment. The badger and aardvark get a designated burrow enrichment which is definitely nice, but it makes one wonder why a smaller variant is not present for meerkats and prairie dogs. The burrow system also has one of the most frustrating examples of a great idea being missed; Burrows can be directly linked to billboards, allowing for real-time viewing of the animals. When billboards came out, the same update had habitat video cameras that guests could apparently 'see' and increase rating of the park. I set out to put a number of these cameras in the perfect spots, only to discover you could not actually link them to the billboards. You had to first record them with some outside video software, download them, then reupload them into the game's files if you wanted to display animal footage on billboards, and in that case they would not actually be live feeds but pre-recorded scenes. I really hope at some point the burrow functionality is given to the video cams as well so that we can have live-time animal showings with spectacular custom views. As far as bugs go, I noticed that while dall sheep are listed as using the goat mountain, they will not recognize it as an enrichment item and would not use it. This will probably get patched soon, but still worth noting. At the end of the day, is this pack worth getting? If you already love planet zoo and buy all the packs, this is just more good stuff. However, if you have limited funds and can only get certain packs, this is definitely near the bottom. If you are primarily focused on animals, I would say this is probably the weakest pack on offer, possibly outside of the Arctic pack. Both get you a deer and a ram, you might have to choose at that point between a polar bear and two small carnivores. If you are more of a scenery build player, I think that every other scenery pack beats this one out. This is definitely not a bad pack but it certainly feels like it sits at the back of the line when it comes to both new animal variety and build options.

  100% YES!! Some great additional content, this is by far my new favourite content pack for Planet Zoo. Wonderful new animals (making an open space for a deer park). Love the opportunity to introduce some Lynx into my parks as well along with the salamander

  This pack may not be the most requested, or contain the most exotic animals. But Frontier really did the best they could with this one. All 4 animals are great new picks that offer new options and fill out a niche not previously present. But the real highlight of the pack is the scenery. Although I personally love the Dutch and general European inspired architecture, what I love more is how many versatile and general pieces we got. Most of it is very usable in old zoos or projects from all types of continents and biomes. Not to mention the coach, ferry, food truck etc. offering great new mechanics that go really well with the new restaurants and counters. It may not be the aviary or marine pack everyone hoped for, but it's the next best thing as far as I'm concerned.

  Because I myself live in Europe, this package is very worthwhile. It adds super realistic animals and provides 280 new parts. Personally, I especially like the new spawn points, now I can make a more realistic entrance! Also the foodtruck and the new parts for more realistic houses and lighting make this a great pack to give a romantic atmosphere to some places in your zoo. It's also nice that we can now make a zoo in a city surrounded by houses and roads with buses and rivers with boats where people come from! Great pack!

  This DLC is fantastic. The new scenery pieces are diverse, and they mix well with other themes. The pack is true to the setting, and it's nice to see Dutch and Italian influences in the architecture. Worth the money in my honest opinion. The mini van shop shells work really well with the new free update shop counters, and feel very natural and easy to use. The animals are well animated and fun, the Lynx being my personal favorite. The new spawn points are a big up, and a creative way to mix it up when it comes to guests and crowd management. The new scenario is fun and the park is stunning. Cannot recommend this enough. One of the best DLC packs to date!

  Overall good pack, great for builders and has 4 great animals. Eurasian Lynx is a staple needed in the game, European Badger is a odd choice but probably one of the best animals in the pack, European Fallow Deer is the first real deer like deer species we have, and the Alpine Ibex has risen from the dead of 2004.
