  while i do like the game itself and recommend it, the DLCs are very very bad. ==== i give these DLCs : 5/10 . ==== do not buy the dlc or gold edition or whatever as it is a waste of time and money. first of all the game servers are still up as of november 2021 but i really don't care about a few skins or mercenaries mode as not a lot of people play this game online anymore, so the real DLC is lost in nightmare and escape from tricell. lost in nightmare : the advertisement is DISCOVER WHAT HAPPENED IN THE MANSION WITH JILL AND CHRIS !!! while in the actual DLC you DISCOVER NOTHING ! NOTHING ! the entire dlc is you and jill go to a mansion run around to collect a few keys to open some doors and kill 3 powerful zombies then you meet wesker and you will see THE EXACT cinematic that you saw in the game itself. YOU DISCOVER NOTHING, u kill 3 zombie and then it ends. ESCAPE from tricell : again advertisement : discover how josh and jill escape ! actual DLC : u kill some zombies and get on the helicopter and see the exact cinematic as in the game itself ! again u discover nothing ! if you really want it buy the entire thing for less than 5$. ==== i give these DLCs : 5/10 . reviewed by IMMORTALEADER.

  I played the Gold Edition before on PS3 and it was great, you get the lost in Nightmare DLC which is must own as it brings back memories of the orignal Resident Evil with you moving through a mansion solving puzzles and getting some good scares. desperate escape is a full action based dlc and thats about all i need to say about that...you shoot a lot of zombies. The mercenaries reunion which brings classic characters like Barry burton, some cool outfits and a versus mode where you fight other players which is pretty good. All in all this is a great pack of DLC for RE5 and is a must own if you enjoyed RE5 or even any of the previous games in the franchise.

  Finally Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition is available for PC. I've always enjoyed the additional game modes on PS3 and now I can enjoy them even more on PC now as well, it's a good day for people who loves this game. The Gold Edition will make this game a lot more funner to play. :D

  Did take some time for this to be released, but it was worth the wait. If you already owned the base game and updated it, (7,2gb update) you will be happy to know that NO additional download is required after buying this DLC. (Except 0,0 bytes) After the update though you will not have access to your original save, however Capcom are working on a GFWL to Steamworks converter, it is located in the options for the game. The Direct X 9 or 10 selection screen (AKA the launcher) is removed. Alright, lets get to the dlc- haha. After purchase you will discover the game letting you know you got new costumes and gamemodes available. You will need to complete 3-1 for Lost in Nightmares and 6-3 for Desperate Escape. These DLC's once you get to play them, you will have a very good experience- they run without any FPS drops or visual errors. In my opinion- A stable release. ^_^

  Capcom continue their trend of lazy PC ports, the gold content is not polished compared to the consoles version. Many of the DLC original assets are missing and Capcom have simply ported the games original assets were they could, this causes problems with character models like Lost in Nightmares Chris and Desperate Escape's Jill. Several voice clips are also missing such as Barry's lines. Some visual effects are missaligned like bomb lights. Don't accept it, don't buy it. Demand Capcom fix their mess.

  This DLC took a long time to finally get to the PC, and I'm not sure if it's worth it. Lost in Nightmares is a really great episode that anyone who played RE1 will love, but it's also only around an hour long. Desperate Escape is about the same length, but it's nothing but an hour of action shooting with very little story and no real addition to the plot, and the dialogue is pretty cringey. If you really like Mercenaries, the Reunion addition will probably make this DLC worth the price (I never actually tried Versus, so I can't say exactly what it is), but otherwise it's kind of a hard sell for $15. It's a good DLC and even the worst of the two episodes is still pretty fun in its own way, but you might want to wait for a sale before buying. And like the original game, a friend is pretty much required in order to have fun in the DLC episodes.

  It's a really nice thing in store. Untold Stories Bundle is a bunch of new campaings, new game modes and new stuff like costumes. First campaign is nice and gives us atmosphere of old RE games. It's short but really cool and recommended. Second is about Jill and Josh. Lots of enemies, hardcore gameplay and total despair. That's cool too. Mercenaries Reunion is great because of new characters: Excella, Rebecca or Barry. Versus mode is interesting but I think it's dead a little bit. Costumes are beautiful. So, GWFL is dead and it can suck my lollipop.
