Arena of Valor Latest Global Patch Notes
The latest Arena of Valor global update comes packed with some much-needed nerfs, buffs, and other minor adjustments across all AoV region-specific versions to improve the gameplay experience for both old and new players alike. These updates are divided into different categories according to the gameplay aspect that it affects for reader’s convenience. Battlefield Adjustment
First and foremost, there have been some minor changes to the battlefield including some ability buffs and nerfs to balance out Arena of Valor combat experience on the battlefield.
1.Holy Dragon and Infinite Slayer Adjustments
Recently there’s been a slight balance shift between Holy Dragon and Infinite Slayer’s abilities that have now been readjusted to give players a fair chance with both.
- Light Strike: The magic damage has been increased with a 0.3-second cooldown time. Also, the same amount of damage is to be dealt to heroes with a 3-second cooldown.
- Holy Light Strike: Deals the same amount of Magic damage as Light Strike to creeps with a 0.3-second cooldown. But also deals additional magic damage to enemy heroes equal to 5% of their max HP.
- Infinite Slayer's Wrath: 30% damage additional damage jungle creeps and creeps with a 0.3-second cooldown. Also deals additional magic damage to enemy heroes equal to 5% of their max HP with a 3-second cooldown.
- Abyssal Corrosion I (Debuff Received): Reduced healing effects by 12.5% and physical and magic defense by 10%. And stacking up to 4 times for 5 seconds.
- Abyssal Corrosion II (New Passive): Normal attacks by Infinite Slayer's reduce the target's healing effects by 40% for 5 seconds.
- Infinite Slayer's AOE Skill: Can no longer use AOE skill on enemy towers, will only deal normal attacks to them.
2.Improved Training Camp
The training camp has also been improved to make the experience a little smoother for the player.
- Hero and Skin Switching: Firstly, players will now have the ability to switch heroes and skins directly on the match screen. This saves time by not having to exit and re-enter the Training Camp.
- Training Dummy: Now, you have different dummies for allies and enemies, each with its own health stats.
- Teleportation: Now you have a button that teleports you anywhere on the minimap.
- Pause Function: The training session can now be paused using the new pause function.
- Holy Dragon/Infinite Slayer Button: Players can now spawn dragon or slayer with the push of a button.
3.Creep Adjustment
Following players’ complaints about how difficult it gets with dealing creeps, there have been some new adjustments to make things easier and less stressful.
- Increased spawn time from 10 seconds to 12 seconds for the first time.
- Creep's speed has also been reduced to 2,800 from 3,000. With up/down speed dropped to 3,000.
- Creeps will have their speed increased after 4 minutes into the game by 10%.
Battle Gameplay Experience
The next important update comes with minor adjustments and additions to improve Arena of Valor’s battle gameplay experience for players by introducing new communication enhancement, map improvements, and more.
1.In-game communication and Quick Chat
Communication is the key to winning games in Arena of Valor and we have received some new updates that improve communication and quick chat for the players.
- Ping triggers will now have 6 seconds instead of 3.
- New Punish cooldown and enemy ultimate pings.
- Players will be able to send apology messages to their fallen teammates.
- Instead of dragging the ping, players will now be able to send a message with a single tap.
- Players can see the ping details by hovering the ping button on other players.
2.Battle mechanic description improvements
Arena of Valor is all about swift control and movement and the recent update makes it easy for players to navigate options more efficiently.
- You can now find the team stats at the top with heroes' places according to their gold earned.
- The voice icon has also been shifted to a new location below the hero icon.
- Now you can watch how much the enemy tower has left on the screen.
3.Bush Visibility
It can be frustrating for players to lose sight of the enemy as soon as they hide under the bush. Well, that has now changed with adjusted time and visibility in Arena of Valor’s latest update.
- The visibility for special effects has also been increased when hitting enemies in bushes and fog.
- Players will be able to see the enemy regardless of the vision.
- The time for the enemies to hide in the push has been upped to 0.4 from 0.1 so they don’t instantly vanish.
