  The wildcard entry, and i love it Not as realiable as other classes, but has the true potential to dominate fights in the right hands a 1 v 1 specialist you need on your team, high aggro a must! the REAL bonus to this guy, on a hardcore campaign, is the day 1 unlock

  I like the option, but I don't like how it's given to the player. Rather than locking some of these specialist classes away from the player like the Retarius/Murmillo, it's just unlocked at the start of the game. For Charioteer, this at least makes sense since chariot races are generally locked by time, but I feel like these extra classes could be unlocked for the player in a better way than just paying for the unlock. However, Devil's Advocate does say that if these were unlocked via a method like learning it ala Retarius, it could be seen as locking content from the full game behind a paywall, and that this was likely the easiest way to not piss off too many people with a content lock. Overall, it's worth it. For a small amount, you get a small update that shakes up the game, no matter which class I'm talking about.
