  Occult Rewrite is a lot better than I initially expected at first. Before I begin, I should let you know that this game does have lewd events, it isn't exactly straight up porn. It's just seeing a bit of the girls' skin and sexual innuendos, but it doesn't make the game bad. EDIT: Dev added the option to toggle NSFW mode, so you'll get to see boobas now. [u][b]Story[/b][/u]: You're basically a dude going on a field trip with three other classmates: Aurora (Camera Girl), Solar (Smart Girl), and Arthur (Otaku Dude). You're being chaperoned by your teacher, Miss Hada (Busty MILF). Something goes awry and you all get stranded onto a spooky island which has a spooky mansion on it. You'll soon meet two characters: Alma (Small Girl fascinated about the Occult) and Leon (Handsome Dude) who were also recently stranded like you guys. To cut to the chase, something bad happens and you get sent back to when you were stranded except you retain your memories and a curse. It is up to you to use your prior knowledge and looping curse to find clues about the true nature of the spooky island. I enjoyed the story because there's so much mysterious shit that is in it. A few events that happen with the supernatural that keeps you on your toes until you get to the end that you realize the significance of the island itself. I loved the True End since it's really sweet and romantic after a lot of deaths that it takes to get to it as well as finding out the special twist about the island. I'll admit that the story is sort of shorter than I would've liked, in fact it even ends in a major cliffhanger. There are still unresolved plot points by the time you reach the True End that leaves you grasping for more. So I hope that there'll be another game or a DLC or something to fill that void. [u][b]Gameplay[/b][/u]: The gameplay is pretty much like a kinetic visual novel. You point and click around the place to get some observations from the characters. There'll be dialogue choices that you have to choose, usually it'll dictate which room to go into, what action to take, or even just a quiz/memory game. At points in the story, you'll collect some evidence at the top left, you'll sometimes be required to select on one of the evidences you've collected to answer. You'll pretty much go through each choice to try to get all of the evidence you need in order to get the True End. So expect to die a lot or get some dead ends, but don't be discouraged, you'll eventually get it. There are some points in the game that you play a memory game, I think around two points, they aren't bad but it's very easy to mess up if you skip text too much. Another thing I like is the art, which is fantastically done, especially for some lewd stuff. I also appreciate that there are no jumpscares in this visual novel. I want to have a fun time without falling off my chair. [u][b]Verdict[/b][/u] I recommend this game, hope there's a sequel or DLC. Have a nice one!   Uh?? I... Expected something similar to world of horror but lewd, but this is... Indeed a bittersweet experience. Play it, for the price of a pizza you'll surely get something better out of it. And if you're like me your heart will even pound a little bit here and there. Not from the scares either... I hate (love) games that make me feel like this.

  It's a good game with some light sexual content. However, it is unfinished. I dunno if more routes are planned in future patches or in a sequel. But what's here is worth the price.

  Interesting fun occult game the characters were interesting and the story was interesting about all the different occult stories and topics that were brought up, the only downside to this game is that it seems to leave on a cliffhanger so I guess more chapters of this game will be released hopefully on a later date since there is still a lot left unexplained. if you want to buy this game I would recommend getting this game on sale since it does seem like it is unfinished at the moment and the price is a little higher then I would say its worth for the game. I did enjoy playing game however and hopefully more of the game will be released soon.

  I went in expecting ecchi horror, but ended up more invested in the story itself. There were some great moments that made me go 'Oh, traditional logic bit me in the ass there, yikes..' followed by an intrigued 'I wonder what they'll throw at me next!'. This feels like a passion project through and through despite its rough edges. You might get some errors here or there (save semi-often), but from all the fixes that have been popping up it seems like the Devs are on the case. The art is great (I'm a sucker for good sprites), the music is good and the overall feel is fantastic. If you are at all intrigued, I'd say it's more than worth the price. Eagerly awaiting more! :D

  I've bought and played a lot of games in my whole life, but I could never play through a VN game or a non-action game to the end, and I thought I was condemned to never like these genres, but I'm glad this game proved me wrong. From the start I was already caught by the narrative, it was fun, spicy and more important build the mysterious very well. It was also a very good experience going through all variations. For now I'm waiting the last chapter, but I can say without a doubt that this game is worth having.
