  The price might be debatable, but in any case it isn't grossly overpriced. Apart from the new department, this DLC gives some much welcome visual fidelity in the form of visible wounds, crutches, wheelchairs and bandages. The new department is ok. Of course it has the same caveat as the departments in the base game (if you choose not to take over patients and just view it from a management aspect, they are all identical). Traumatology has an added sense of urgency compared to the other departments as its patients often have multiple critical conditions which often requires you to perform 2-3 surgeries to get them out of the woods.

  Not much change in the gameplay but some nice features for £4-£5. You get: a extra department and associated diseases a new room (Burn ward) a helicopter (!) New Items A new scenario (although it's an empty map, no story or anything) You don't get: Completely new sections or features like Doctor Mode DLC or Hospital Services

  The price is about in line with the value of this content. The helicopter, visuals, and new diseases are nice. The dept is really itself a minimal add-on. On the downside; the burn unit features should've/could've been a entirely new dept by themselves. No new hospital room procedure equipment (merely new equipment for existing procedures). I'd rate this as neutral if I could but since the cost is so low, I'll give it a "yes."

  This DLC gives your hospital a more complete feel to what the real thing is - a must in my book. But it does "only" adds flavor as it builds upon the previous trauma mechanics. For what it is and what it does, I'm happy to purchase it and support the devs. Hopefully, it lays the foundations for a more complex DLC in the future

  Definitely worth the small price to pay for what is being added. Lots of hours of new game play added. Highly recommend. The events are so fun. I'm loving it! :)
