  No matter how hard I try not to think of it, I see that Codemasters was bought. Same cringe cutscenes just like in NFS 2015,the first game in the franchise same as F1 2021 with cutscenes and story mode. But only since Codemasters was purchased by EA... Beside that the game runs better than GRiD 2019 I don't know how... Never drops below 100fps in 1080p with maxed out settings using an RX 5700XT. The handling its easy, the graphics are beautiful and the game looks very familiar like GRiD 2019. Worth the purchase. Only 1 minor bug that I encountered and that would be the mouse icon not disappearing from my screen(I use an XBOX Series X Controller). Beside that not a thing.

  Basically a repeat of Grid 2019, pretty much the same tracks, no real upgrades to any of the part of the gameplay, and overall just a copy paste of Grid 2019. I will stick around to see if online play is actually decent in this game, but it will probably take the same path as Grid 2019. Codies realized they messed the previous game up so bad that nobody wanted to buy it so they reskinned it to try to make some extra money. Boo Codemasters, actually put some work into your games.

  Grid Legends is a Fun Game! New game but very similar to the previous one in terms of content, few new locations the vehicles are almost the same, the best thing it offers is the Graphic quality that really impresses in this one, the Gameplay is edentic but it gets better when turn off or lower the assists! City Streets tracks looks Stunning, they know how to made it and become an Incredible hallmark of the Series now we can have Snow too! There are a Total of 22 Circuits, which make a 137 Layouts! City Circuits are 10. Barcelona, London, Moscow, Paris, Chicago, San Francisco, Havana, Dubai, Shanghai and Yokohama Docks with a total of 64 different layouts! Racing Circuits are 11. Brands Hatch, Red Bull Ring, Strada Alpina, Crescent Valley, Indianapolis, Mount Panorama, Sydney Motorsport Park, Okutama GP, Sepang, Suzuka and Zhejiang with a total of 67 different layouts! Sprint Racing Road Okutama in the Mountains is very Beautiful, good for Time Trial or some Sideways Action with 6 different layouts! The New Strada Alpina Racing Circuit is also Beautiful, we can Race at the Top of Italian Alps with breathtaking views with 8 different layouts! The Game has more than 120 Cars at Launch! From Electric to modern Hypercars to Legendary Prototype GTs Stadium Super Trucks and Big Rigs! Cars are divided into 9 Categories. Open Wheel, Touring, Drift, Trucks, Specials, Tuner, Electric, Track Day and GT. Story Mode it's Medium make a few Races 36 maybe can complete it in just 4h, places Real Actors in the Cutscenes, which is fine but most of it was Recorded inside the Office! Career Mode distributed Across a Multiple of classes and disciplines there's an enormously Variety, away from the mess it was in the previous game! Multiplayer Mode not a fan here, but it sure is fun with all the tools it offers! Grid Legends was Polished, is a small Expansion from Grid 2019! This isn't a Simulation Game, is fun and generous and varied Package!

  I like the game and enjoy mostly but its filled with bugs. https://gyazo.com/b381a709e8757ec493c2a427fe445782 -Camera options bugged, hood cam disabled and replaced with 2 reverse cams, pausing the game fixes this. Cant look back at all if the camera bugged. 1.9gb patch recently and not fixed. ---Codemasters could've implemented to grid series F1 game camera customisation options, but nope. In Time attack AI cheats, cause their performance is based of your car performance during the time attack mode and if you finish 1st and were like -0.5 sec faster(Legend AI) , after the finish line you end up being like 12th give or take and they make like 2 sec faster times. Unless you drive slowly 3 laps out of 4 and on the last lap do your fast time and you end up getting probably 1st if you nail it and finishing the time attack being last person to cross finish line. -Annoying AI random crashes out of nowhere to ruin your races if you play without flashbacks. Story has no meaning since you unlock the cars from career, also it felt like boring, maybe ill do it later (finished like 8 races out of 30 or something that there is) -Multiplayer cant really see if upgrades are enabled when joining session. The longer you've played more advantage from the upgrades on multiplayer. So you're kinda forced to play career to unlock cars. Most ppl play career mp so upgrades are automatically on, so bit unbalanced if host doesnt have upgrades yet and someone joins with them on. Handling is way too arcade, most corners doesnt need braking, just lift gas.

  Might as well be an alpha release. I'll start with the cons. 1. The player lobby is stupid. You can't adjust settings if you're in a lobby, you can't adjust settings after a race, you can't adjust settings other than during a race, waiting for it to start, you have 15 seconds. But then you wait 30-60 seconds on the results screens for no reason at all. Like come on, everyone saw their time, pressed A/X and are ready to move on. 2. There's vehicle upgrades for multiplayer that you earn from playing career mode. You can run the most perfect lap ever and people with upgrades will beat your time by 4-12 seconds just from extra speed on the straight, faster shifting, etc. And since every car can be upgraded, the stock car runs like a piece of garbage. 1st-3rd gear is great, 4th is just enough then you hit 5th and have no power. I find myself constantly switching back and forth through 4-5 just to take the S's at Suzuka(as 1 example.) Stay in 4th you're redlining. Stay in 5th you're slow. I'd be okay with it if there was an option to turn them off for the lobby. Oh wait, there is! but IT DOESN'T WORK. If you want upgrades you have to buy the car in game, but to earn money you have to grind more than Old School Runescape. 3. No Multiplayer features. No championships, no racing stats(unless you use their racenet website, and even then it's the bare minimum), no online replays to save, no option to pass lobby leadership, vote to kick someone.. Like all but one of those was a feature in the original GRID from 2008. 4. If you use a wheel, force feedback is absolute dogsh*t. They advertised logitech TrueForce for GRID Legends back in August 2021 on Twitter and it's not available on release. Even GRID 2019 has it. 5. The racing AI is some of the worst I've ever seen. Doesn't matter what level you put them at, on Easy they're 20mph faster on the straight then come to a crawl around the corners. On Legend they cut you off even if you're not they're "nemesis" , block the racing line completely. You can turn them off in multiplayer, except in the one game mode where literally everyone wants the AI gone, time trial. Good luck setting a fast lap with AI hogging the racing line in the corners. 6. Audio mix is just awful. No matter how you adjust the audio sliders, EVERYTHING drowns out your revs, especially with the dash cam. If you use manual gearbox you'll find yourself redlining gears out of a corner because you can't even hear that you are. There's commentary during each race and it's not bad but the only way you hear it is by driving by a pole with a speaker on it. You make the most arcade racer ever but go full sim mode with that? And to add to that, the GLARE during afternoon races is blinding. You can't see a thing. There's a car with a carbon fiber dash and honestly all I could see was the reflection of carbon fiber on the windshield. Wtf is that. Guess we'll just run overcast races only guys sorry. Too many cons to mention. - There's so many more things wrong with this game and it's frustrating it's been out a week and there hasn't been a patch for anything. I will gladly change my review if they fix/add these things. These are the bare minimum expectation for racing games. I don't see how this was made and approved for release. Pros (if I HAD to give some. 1. Story mode can be fun. It's different. It's real actors for the cutscenes but the writing is a little over the top. Like F1s drive to survive on steroids level. They definitely put most of their work into story mode which is fine. 2. You can hop into some races that have already started. That's a great feature I wish every racing game had. 3. Graphics are pretty good. Not groundbreaking, but good. 4. Many cars of different classes to choose from. That's GRID though, they should have more in each class with an option to nearly equalize their performance. They put cars that are insanely slower than another car in the class. I don't get it. GRID 2008 had different cars but it really was up to which cars handling you preferred. 5. It can be fun with friends, and it's crossplay which I hope every racing game from EA/Codemasters is, especially F1 2022. No voice/text or quick chat, But with the right cars(usually the classes with 1 car to choose from) and good settings you can have some close racing. All in all I can't recommend this game at the moment. I just expected so much more.. As I have with every GRID since 2008, just remaster that. Please fix this game, I'm sure so many people feel cheated as well, this should've been 20 bucks. As of March 4th, 2022, RIP GRID series in my eyes.

  [h1]A good game released at the wrong time.[/h1] If you don’t know EA decided to pull a Titanfall 2 and release the game at the worst possible time. It was released between Elden Ring and Gran Turismo 7. It’s like they don’t want the game to succeed and I bet they are gonna blame the game’s small release player count on other games like Forza and Gran Turismo. Small rant aside the game is better than Grid 2019 in every possible way. The new addition that is the story mode had me captivated the entire time I was playing. The acting was well done and I had no complaints about the plot. The only thing that I did not like was the fact that it was a little bit too short (I finished the story in 5 hours!). Physics in this game are mostly arcade, you are gonna get used to them very easily, I consider them an improvement from Grid 2019 (drift physics are a little wonky though, so don’t buy this game if you’re expecting a drift simulation type of game). The sense of speed in this game is really good thanks to the camera shake, motion blur, and the upbeat soundtrack (the cockpit view has an even better sense of speed). The cars themselves are detailed and sound good. Graphics, even though I see some people complaining about them, I find them to be good, maps, weather and the overall lighting are fine. The only complaint I have about this game is that the career mode can be a little bit too grindy. You don’t get a lot of money and XP for races and I don’t like the mileage requirement for races and upgrades. So all that being said, I consider Grid Legends to be a good follow-up game from Grid 2019. Such a shame EA decided to botch the release date. [b]Score: 8/10[/b]

  The racing is fun but there are too many bugs to list. A couple I will list: You have to unlock vehicles to level 2 before unlocking the final race in each category....each time you unlock to level 2 the race doesn't unlock until you get the car to level 3. The first race(s) in a series usually don't give you mileage progress for a car showing 0/10 miles to first upgrade in-spite of just driving it through multiple races. Why this matters? You race 1-3 races, no progress. Then you race the next portion and get some progress. Then you re-race a series to get Upgrade Level 2....and the race doesn't unlock. Then you re-race the series again to unlock to level 3 and FINALLY, which unlocks the race that should have been unlock level 2. So you just raced 4 multiple-race series to get to a race that should have taken 2 series to open. 90 minutes or so spent to get to a race that should have taken 30-45 minutes to get to. And that's just one of the bugs.....

  sigh. at just over 100hrs i reached the "game break bug" once you reach PRO league you CANNOT progress any further. tried to reset the play progress within the IN GAME settings with no success..(replayed the game multiple times up to this point) Cannot advance to unlock new races, cant complete sponsorship tasks, yikes. the game falls apart. I just noticed the game is now $30..i mean cant charge full price for a full game right?? whether its worth it or not is up to you
