  Another game from Winged Cloud has appeared. That's right. This is the 17th. If they keep it this way, eventually there will be as many series as vegetarian varieties... maybe already happened? If you are new to the Sakura series, I think you are definitely attracted to the Almost-Clickbait title. Oww, a Sadist with Yuri Theme? Isn't it attractive and promising? Well, whether you've played any Sakura VN, or you've played it for the first time, I can assure you that this is not a recommended VN. Same laziness, same immatureness. [/url] In other words, if you've played their very previous title, you can hardly feel fresh from the main character. Even in this obvious SSDD(Same Sprites - Different Dyes), Someone could think of it like this: "Hey, the lazy protagonist is a very common cliché on VN!" Yeah, how nice it would have been if only one of the main characters brought the setting of the previous one. [url=https://i.imgur.com/fll5ClC.jpg] Less than five minutes later, you can see that the main character's childhood friend is the same. [/url] -anathema to her own full name, a nagging remark about a lazy protagonist, And Lady Tsundere's "As If" speech. Typical. [/url] The conversations in the game are not very impressive, nor do they express the character's personality. Let me give you a few examples, A smart childhood friend who nags the main character uses double negatives and a professor at a university uses a double modal in this VN. Totally proper grammar. Thx! Stupid, lazy characters and smart characters used a similar level of vocabulary all the time, and as a result, it was hard to concentrate on the characters. Unfortunately, the writer seemed only interested in writing [url=https://i.imgur.com/21hwUOw.png/] silly humor situations [/url] and illogical ecchi developments. - [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1415572158/] Oh, and... But unfortunately, it's the ONLY one. While other VN developers such as the Sekai Project maximize their advantages with Live2D and various visual effects, this only has a well-drawn CG. Fixed CGs and sprites are actually not common in 2019. So remember this if you are new to this series. Let me tell you a little bit about the quality of this series that I was disappointed with.   So after playing through the entire game, getting every ending, i gotta say this was a blast! I know that Winged cloud doesnt have the best reputation with some people, but i think they truly did an amazing job here! First of all, ive always been a huge fan of Wanaca's work, ever since i was first introduced into the sakura series. Matter of fact, ive always been inspired from her work, so seeing her style with these characters were very beutiful. The writing was great through out the story, Though i felt like there were a few unnessary moments with some of Azusa's inner thoughts, but her odd internal ramblings started growing on me and i liked the character more for it in the end. Each character felt unique in there own ways, and never felt to out of place with the plot. The music was pretty good too! Without spoiling some of the story, there were some scences where the music matched exactly what was going on, and set the tone perfectly. The backgrounds were very good! There wasnt to many diffrent areas, but that doesnt mean it was bad, if anything, it made these areas feel more alive, my fav being the maid cafe. If your interested in playing it, id reccomend it, its an easy read with beutiful art work and stoytelling. This next part has a few minor spoilers, so just a fair warning! I felt like the story was more impactful because i went into Mari's route first, then when i went into Mamiko's route, i felt like i just backstabbed Mari so hard, and the more i went into hers, the more i felt like i was betraying Mari. Though im glad i did eventaully go down Mamiko's route, it has a pretty interesting twist of events that made me feel wrong but at the same time led to more curiosity. If you just go down Mari's route, it might feel short and sweet, but thats because the story really takes an odd turn when you start to pursue Mamiko, and opens up more. All in all, it was an engaging experience! (O BTW If your trying to get the "Hidden" ending, But not sure how to get it, i got you fam! Youll need to complete both Mari's route and Mamiko's, then reload a save where you were going down Mari's route, basically to the last choice you can do with her route, but instead, send the photo. The next morning when she asks if your the real Azusa, you'll have a new promt saying that you remember that you two made a wish when you were younger. Afterwards, youll need to jump a head until she confess her love to you, then you just choose that you love her AND Mamiko, then from there your set for the secret ending!) But yeah, hopefully this review meant something to somebody! If your on the fence about it, maybe get it when it goes on sale again! But all in all, it was very nice to see Winged cloud make this awesome story!

  This 17th title of the Sakura series from Winged Cloud features a female student Azusa Usui who lives and attends the same music school Victoria Academy together with her childhood friend Marilyn Suminoe (Mari). Mari is worried about Azusa not taking her studies seriously and Azusa is falling behind in her studies and deadline to hand in her assignment required by her lecturer Professor Shibata. Azusa has a crush on Mamiko Matsubara who is the academy's model student by excelling in many musical instruments and having many fans. A mysterious person by the identity of Venus has offered to help Azusa to be with any girl of her dreams if she would send her a photo of the girl's panties. The story and plot is written as a romantic comedy with slapstick comedy, fan service and has 3 endings with nice background music by Zack Parrish and great artwork by Wanaca in the game cover, CGs, Steam badges, emoticons, achievement icons and profile backgrounds. Hope Zack Parrish will release the soundtrack album at Bandcamp in future. On the minus side, the price of this visual novel is a bit high at 25% discount on Steam store as it takes less than 10 hours to read through the visual novel, get all endings and unlock all CGs and achievements and the game does not have trading cards yet. Recommended only at good discount or bundle offer for fans of Winged Cloud who might be interested in collecting the titles in the Sakura series, a short romantic comedy with adult humour, yuri fan service and doesn't mind themes of voyeurism and BDSM in this visual novel.

  This is a Sakura game. It's NSFW. It features Wanaca's cute and shiny character designs. This particular one is all-Yuri. Not much else needs to be said, other than that I'm actually enjoying Sadist a lot more than recent entries. The writing/CGs are paced well imo and I'm a big fan of the particular character archetypes in this game (Huffy, goody-two-shoes, class pres type; energetic, obnoxious-but-loveable type; SPOILER: Prim and proper on the outside, but secretly dark and sadistic on the inside type). Do NOT buy this game if you meet 1 or more of the following criteria: -You have no interest in adult Visual Novels -You have no interest in Yuri (if this is the case, I recommend a good therapist instead) -You do no like Winged Cloud or Sakura games after watching/blindly accepting information in unsubstantiated hit-piece Yotube videos DO buy this game if you meet 2 or more of the following criteria: -You enjoy adult Visual Novels -Yuri is basically your life -You are a winner -You are poor
