  So I've played a little bit and I LOVE the art style. The combat is almost perfect, the only thing that should be added soon is an arm length toggle! I'm afraid my arms are too short for the player model so it makes handling my weapon a bit more difficult. With that said I'd still recommend the game, I had a lot of fun! Edit: Turns out the initial launch was the wrong build! Now that it's the right one my one issue has been fixed! I've been looking for a game with fun combat and a world/towns to explore, this game has done this and I'm very grateful! This game is fun, nuff said.

  The game has a lot of promise, although there are a few things that need some improvement so the game can live up to the expectation, but this is why it's in early access.   I dont want to give this a negative review because potential looks awesome, love the art style that feels really cool while in VR, so i will just say beta experience. Sadly, couldnt really get past the tutorial, trying to hold weapons my arms were getting super janky and spinning the weapons 360. Katana was always holding backwards so couldnt unsheathe the right direction also causing my arms to go crazy. Also couldnt quite seem to figure out how to throw the shuriken good without it kinda just going plop lol, but maybe thats just my own user error. Some of these issues could have been user error on me but from playing games such as Legendary Tales and Asgard's Wrath the jank was most certainly felt. I look forward to future updates though as i did purchase in Beta and will be continuously checking back in

  So as of release (Early access so it can be forgiven) Its very barebones and basically it seems to be a skeleton as whats to come, BUT for a skeleton, it is extremely well done and feels tremendously fun. Especially if this vintage japanese feel is sort of your vibe. I feel like straight out an anime. Well done and i'm very excited to see as to whats to come. P.S: The red fox mask feels what it must be like to have sharingan, feels very sick and is a shout out to the classic vr title Red Hot. 30 dollars seems a little much for what the game offers now, But maybe in due time it will be well worth it. Buy it early and you get it for only 20. Great game so far.

  I will change this review once the game is in a better state. It has great potential! It's just not ready yet I'm afraid. Physics are glitchy, weapons feel uncomfortable and overall combat feels very buggy and unresponsive. The music is pure trash and kills the immersion I couldn't find a way to turn it off but maybe you can do that? Overall I'd wait for a few updates before buying the game I just personally found it to be unplayable. (NOTE: I was playing on a Valve Index).

  I would like to change my review. The game is def still early access but with the updated build it is 100 able to played now. I love the art style and the game play is really good, especially for it being early access. If you have a bad review I recommend giving it a second try now that the new build is up

  one of the most disappointing games i have played. the physics feel genuinely broken and for a game that is all about sword combat the swords feel miserable to play with. you would have an infinitely better time if you just got blade and sorcery and downloaded katana mods. 3/10 game.

  I've been really looking forward to this game for a while now but I cannot currently recommend it. I know it's early access but this game isn't all that close to finished... I will change this review if they make the game playable because in it's current state it is not...

  In the post-Boneworks/Alyx world, expectations are high. I know this is "early access" but it does not have a hook, gimmick, or satisfying feature to build on top of. It feels like buying a mid doom clone after Halo: Combat Evolved has been on the market for a year.
