  Not a very interesting game, I'd just move right alon- *OBJECTION!* I had no idea coming into this game that it had a full storyline. My understanding of the series prior to playing it was that it was a bunch of unrelated short stories. While the stories themselves have unique qualities and each one has its own charm, part of the fun of this series is that they all tell an overall story and the characters actually develop over time as the story progresses. The gameplay itself is a fun challenge, though often the contradiction can be spotted but the way it wants the presentation of evidence is different from the way that you lay it down. So I like the general idea of this game, but I just think that in moments, figuring out how the game wants you to proceed can be difficult. In addition, I think certain characters could do with a wardrobe change, as this game could be enjoyable for a younger audience if not for what seems to be at least semi-mature wardrobe content. As the only main difference in the games is in their plots, I'll rate each one below: PW:AA - The introduction to the universe of Phoenix Wright. This is the game that established the basic gameplay, developed the original cast, and did something very unique at the time that has now been replicated by several other games that are clearly paying homage to a classic. Phoenix and Edgeworth make a perfect initial pair in court, and I just think this game deserves a lot of love. 8/10. PW:JFA - This game introduced us to the successor prosecutor, and while I thought this new prosecutor gimmick was a stupid way to contrast her with Edgeworth, they actually developed her character to give her purpose throughout the entire storyline. This game also introduced us to the magatama, which makes for a nice way to get the feeling of a trial before the trial has actually begun. Pearly also appeared this game for the first time, and while I never saw a need for her character when she was first introduced, she's a character that has grown on me. Finally, I'd like to add that the last game in this one was particularly well-written and overall a great mystery story. It also tied in nicely to one of the classic episodes from the last game, so props to the writers for making this one a fitting sequel and something just as worthy of praise as the original. 8/10. PW:T&T - In my opinion, one of the hardest things to do in a universe that has been well-established is to create an adequate final episode that ties all loose ends back up together again. This game was pretty self-contained for the first few games but eventually they not only tied the specific game up to itself, but it also pretty much solved the remaining loose ends that we had been needing resolved from the past games, so there was a lot to love about this one. Godot was the best prosecutor character in all three games, and anyone who has a different opinion on that is just straight-up incorrect. Not sure if I liked what they did with his character, but I also thought that what they did in that episode was not totally out of character for the series. The ending of the trilogy was impressive in terms of the number of loose ends that it tied together. My only real complaint with the way the last story played out was in Maya's "strength" in handling it all for Pearly's sake. After all she'd been through, I wish we'd seen a little more "realness," but maybe that's too much to expect from a cartoon medium paralegal. In any case, the storyline was fascinating and I liked where they went with it. 9/10.

  This is probably one of my favorite games I have ever played. I have been a huge fan for 5 years now, and have replayed it many times. This game and it's characters genuinely bring me so much comfort. Other than my own expierence, the game itself is just amazing. The gameplay is engaging and unique. I love the silly comments between characters. I love the connection between Pheonix and Miles. The relationships built throughout the game are so well done and I enjoy exploring them everytime I play. If anyone is thinking of getting this game, you really should.

  A lot of tearing your hair out, but it's all worth it for this cast of endearing characters (and Oldbag.) This game's playthroughs got me through senior year of high school, and it's looking like playing this game myself will get me through two years of college too!

  "A lawyer only cries once it's all over." God damn I was so wrapped up in this trilogy it instantly made me a Phoenix Wright fan! Colorful and likable characters with tons of charm and humor while still being intense and gripping all at once. This is absolutely a complete package in every sense of the word! (P.S. I finished with 69 hours? Nice)

  Insecure defence attorney deals with the ethical issues of his occupation in Not-Japan by simply refusing to take any guilty clients. He has to deal with the world's worst police department, biased judges, evidence withholding and an endless tirade of lying witnesses who have a suspiciously low chance of being pulled for perjury or contempt of court. This, combined with the verbal, mental and physical abuse of opposing prosecutors would normally be a daunting task, but he is able to fight back with a) the help of a small group of children with abilities in insight, food and demonic possession; plus b) a ghost with big knockers. Its quite good.

  Really one of those games where you wish you can forget just so you get the chance to experience it all over again.
