So essentially, you start your escape from Epstein island as a different kid and notice all the others one's drugged out on their beds, getting out you'll find a tunnel under a bed shawshank inspired style and from there you'll see 2 other slaves making their escape and as such you follow them down to another long tunnel and unfortunately one of them is confirmed vored by the leeches and the other probably as well, but that's okay you get a free flashlight out of it so in all it works out pretty damn good and from that you get to some water parkour stuff or something, and you'll meet some old granny who's looking to drain you and turn you into a taxidermy doll, and you'll eventually kill her with that out of date old T.V, After that chapter is over and really just a short chapter, but 9/10. Also get to play some cool hoops.

    The Depths DLC crashes in every death with no solution

    Unfortunately, but I have to say it

    The Depths is the first DLC that was released after the main game came out. And it is unfortunately a very boring DLC. The fact that it is short is not the problem, because after all it is a DLC to the game, not the full game. The problem is that this DLC is simply boring, there really isn't much going on for those few tens of minutes. Another problem I have observed is the crashes that occur after death. I searched for information on the internet, but found no solution

    Summary

    Overall the game is in the style of Little Nightmares, so for fans of the game who want to play a little longer I recommend it, but overall the DLC itself is not particularly good, but lest anyone misunderstand me, it's not bad either. Hopefully the next DLC in the series will be more to my liking. ✔️Same style as in Little Nightmares ✔️Game climate ✔️Soundtrack ❌The game is simply boring ❌Crashes after death Time of completion: 30-40 minutes ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●

    This dlc is 1 hr long (give or take). You play as someone else, there's a new monster after you, you traverse through some old and new locations. Is it a must buy? Not rly. However I feel like it does add a bit more depth to the setting/story of little nightmares 1. If you liked the main game, consider grabbing the dlc on sale.

    This is a very promising start for the DLC that's on the way for Little Nightmares. The Depths took me about 35 minutes to complete, a decent amount of that trying to work out the water puzzles and how not to die. Without including real spoilers, the beginning and the end of the level are recognised as places you've visited in the main game, and you do see two familiar faces (as best you can when everyone appears to be covering theirs up anyway). The Runaway Kid is very similar to Six, apart from the lighter being replaced by a torch you acquire early in the level. There is also 5 of a new collectable hidden around, called flotsam and appearing as a bottle which you take something out of, and if you're used to how the gnomes and statues worked in the main game your'll be sure to come across them all. The enemy Granny is a pretty creepy foe, and like Inside's water monster, and indeed Amnesia: The Dark Descent's water monster, you'll never look at water the same way again. Even in safe areas where there was no threat in the water, you'll still be nervous to dip a toe in. Leeches make a return, and now appear deadlier than ever, as well as another old foe: electricity. While the ending didn't look too good for the Kid, I look forward to seeing where he goes in future Secrets of the Maw DLC. Tl;dr Good follow up to main game and a great 30 minutes of frantic watery progress solving.

    ~~~~~~~~~~ DLC Review ~~~~~~~~~~ Ignore the negative reviews - I think we all knew it would be short, just look at the original game. I don't understand why people are giving it so much disdain when it is only $4 and you knew what you're getting if you watched the trailer/preview. I personally found it entertaining, and was simply relieved I was able to play more content! It's worth playing, but if $4 is too much for this 'pack', then go for the Maw Expansion Pass; you'll save a dollar or so in the long run ;) The DLC was pretty good itself; the 'boss' you face called the Granny looks downright creepy, and admittedly made me jump a few times. At one point, she actually sent a chill down my spine, something even the original game featuring character Six hadn't achieved. However, there were a few bugs that need cleaning up, like falling halfway through the floor, the Granny spawning at unintended times, or floor textures passing onto objects directly on top of it - but they are minor and not game breaking in the least. Overall, I'd rate it at a solid 8/10 - the jump scares definitely earned points. They also added a bit of detailed content that answers a few questions you may have still had after completing the original game. The ending is a sad one - but it was interesting how they brought the two character's storylines together. Intertwining the plots actually made it all the more disheartening. Feelsbadman. Other Thoughts: It could have improved its score by making the Granny look a bit more menacing, fixing the bugs, and maybe increasing the difficulty of the puzzles. While I enjoyed the bits and pieces of lore that were unveiled in this piece, I still feel like there maybe should have been more; but like I said, it is a solid first piece to the Little Nightmares DLC collection and I cannot wait to play the next two and reveal even more secrets about this plot and our dear characters tied to an ever so tragic fate. *Six makes an appearance! :)* Achievements: So Close: Complete the DLC Chapter Fun & Games Ahead: Toss the meat chunk into the bucket Not Alone: Find and interact with all 5 Flotsams DLC accessible through Chapter Selection screen, beneath Chapter 1
    If you loved this game like I did, you should buy this just of play Little Nightmares again. The main problem I have with this DLC is that there is nothing intresting in it. You never get to see anything new about the maw other than the underwater monster. I was looking for somthing intressting to happen that explained a little more about the maw but nothing ever came. It's just a bunch of water levels with the same monster. Overall, good to play this game again but kinda disapointing.
    I enjoyed Little Nightmares: its atmosphere was so good that I was willing to forgive the annoying fact that we're never really told anything about Six. This DLC has virtually no atmosphere whatsoever. It's not scary; the invariable factor of Granny's spooky hand coming to get you from under the water means you're just rushing as fast as possible and there's no tension involved. The awkward platforming resulting in frequent deaths means you'll rolling your eyes more than feeling any sense of urgency or fear. You're just going through the motions of some puzzle/platforming that frankly isn't that different from the original game. And for what? Some kid who doesn't even have a name, and why would he? This DLC does NOTHING to explain who he is or why we should even care about him. As for revealing the "Secrets of the Maw", it doesn't do that, either. It doesn't tell us anything more than "hey guys, remember that one kid you saw in the original game? well THIS was THAT kid! WHooAOAA".
    I'm torn between an up and a down thumb. I love little nightmares and want to support them, so recommend it if you are like me and want to keep the franchise alive. It's still a good chapter. There's something really special about Little Nightmares. BUT; - It's too short on its own. I think it will be better when all the Secrets of the Maw chapters are finished. Little nightmares is already short, and one chapter on its own is not worth it... Please don't keep making DLC one chapter at a time. I'd rather wait 6 months or 1 year and buy a decent expansion than endless mini DLC. - There's a couple of newish things but it's really a lot of the same of what we already saw and not even quite as interesting.
