  Cannot use this pack unless you've purchased South American Pack. The issue has been reported but devs have ignored it for a year: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/22432 Overall it is useless without other DLC. I recommend avoiding Frontier's predatory DLC model altogether.

  BROKEN. DO NOT BUY. There is a well known glitch where your aquatic animals ignore any and all barriers. It's been over a year, and I feel like a sucker for buying this because I can't actually use any of the animals!

  I find many people complaining about features that are simply found. Waterfalls are in the effects area, so you can stop complaining about that :/. And you don't need the south american pack and they escape either because the barriers are to low or broken, and or because you give them only water from my information. And there are no full aquatics because those are in aquariums. Not zoos. Overall great pack mechanics and skins are great.

  Y'know this DLC is the best out of all of them. It's still only 4 habitat animals but I've kinda given up on hope of them adding more than 4 animals, but I do have to say I feel like this pack has the best content in them. They finally added deep diving and animals that can deep dive, this is a step in the right direction and opens the path to many more aquatic animals in the future, possibly even fully aquatic animals like aquariums and stuff. Anyways it's a really good pack compared to the other ones and I think it is the best DLC yet. The game is starting to feel a little bit like Zoo Tycoon 2 with the addition of aquatic animals. Like I said this pack opens the path to many future aquatic animals and content, I hope to see more stuff like this down the line.

  Buy This. Without a shadow of a doubt this is the best DLC by far and a must-have if you have even the slightest interest in playing Planet Zoo. Three long requested and essential zoo animals, the introduction of a much needed diving mechanic, and some fantastic pieces (probably the best we've seen) really bring this pack together into something super special. Not since the game was announced had I felt the wonder or joy like I did seeing flocks of penguins jetting through the water. There are very few negatives about this pack. I can't help but feel like the otter animations are much weaker than the seal and penguin ones. They aren't awful but they just don't look very fluid or lively. The penguins jet around rapidly, the seals spin and bump around, the otter default dive animation looks very stiff, when near the top of the water they doggy-paddle, and the only special animation I have seen them play in water is a sort of 'roll over' that almost seems to go in slow-motion. It's definitely not bad at all but when compared to the other two animal animations it sticks out. I've spoken in previous reviews about the disappointing animal counts, and here I think it is by far the least noticeable. We got three highly requested animals that all have entirely new rigs and animations, along with a major new mechanic, and while the caiman is definitely the 'odd man out' of the pack like we saw in Arctic with the white wolf and Australia with the dingo, the caiman still blasts both of them out of the water when it comes to how unique and interesting it feels. This pack has shown that pure roster size isn't neccesary as long as the pack can bring something new. Arctic and South America felt like they were just doing more of the same, and Australia almost felt like a step backwards in some regards, but this pack is a cannonball forwards bringing so much great stuff to the game. While more animals would have been nice, I am perfectly satisfied with what we got here, which is the first time I can legitimately say that. One of the only negatives is that there is a hard cap on diving distance; you need a minimum of 4m for animals to dive. This makes perfect sense with the seal, but with the caiman or otter it's odd that they need this distance to dive, especially since if you provide said distance they can actually still dive in the shallower parts, they just won't begin to until minimum 4m has been met. The pieces are great, the animals are great, the new mechanics are great. This is the first pack where there is no caveat, no bizarre design choice that hampers creativity (perhaps the 4m depth thing but even then not likely), no major disappointment. This is just pure joy, pure success, and it deserves all the positive feedback it receives. I hope that this is a sign of things to come, moving forwards and not stagnation or stepping backwards. It's a beacon of hope for the future of the game. We might just get birds, burrowing animals, and Red Kangaroo walkthroughs yet

  This DLC pack has penguins. Other DLC packs do not have penguins. Therefore this DLC pack is superior.

  As a huge peguin fan, I was so happy to hear that the Aquatic Pack will be published. But when starting the challenge zoo, I directly received the hint that I will not be able to save changes of the zoo due to missing packages. Unfortunately it seems that it is necessary to have the Australia DLC pack. This is really annoying. In the description of the Aquatic DLC pack, I could not find any information that next to the basic game, specific DLCs would be necessary to use the whole content of the Aquatic Pack.
