For a time management game this is pretty fun most of the events have some type of qte or little mini game to do and even on the hardest difficulty it's not TOO hard. The achievements are really easy to get you can probably do it in an hour if you bust it out, but I thought you actually needed to watch the game for the achievements the whole time, but you don't which is nice. I'm confused if the leaderboard # whatever dad thing at the end is a meme or if the game has an internal leaderboard unfortunately after you beat the game the first time there's no way to get the cutscenes again. You can continue from the last level or do level select and you don't get the cutscenes. I'm not sure why there's not a new game option to replay through and possibly improve your # as best dad in the world. This is definitely worth $3.00 though for sure.

The gameplay was solid, definitely started feeling the stress of all the tasks you need to juggle. Graphics were more than good enough for this kind of game. There was a good variety of things to do, solid humor, and honestly way more game here than I expected for $2.99. All around fun game.

  Full Review

  Playability	3/5	Easy ("Daddy", *shudder*) difficulty is far too easy, but it ramps up fast, and the controls are pretty wonky in a few spots, making it slightly tough to get some of the achievements in one go (even on D...easy)
  Difficulty	3/5	I call it "fake difficulty" while shaking my head. It isn't a hard game, but some bits require bursts of speed and precision that the majority of the game otherwise doesn't require.
  Graphics	2/5	Intentionally low-quality, and it works. Still doesn't look good, but the aesthetic is appropriate.
  Sound	2/5	There isn't much to it. Some of the sounds will quickly get repetitive and old, but the game isn't very long to begin with, so just deal with it 😎.
  Story & Writing	1/5	There's nothing to the story, but that's part of the point. The way it's presented/framed with comic panels, though, is pretty great (+1 for art).

  I don't remember why I bought Angry Dad. Maybe it was less than a dollar on-sale, or maybe it was funny-enough at the time. I look at the store page now and wonder what about it appealed to me, and (moreover) why some things didn't turn me off from it. It's sexist and it promotes (*NOTE: intentionally-gross-overstatements) incivility and toxic masculinity, but despite this, it's mildly offensive at worst - even to a "snowflake" like me. It knows it's doing these things, but rather than lean way into them the way dozens of cringgily-edgey meme-games out there are wont to do, it just lets them be and moves right along to the actually-funny and sometimes-wholesome bits the game has to offer. It's only a somewhat-funny premise, but Double Tap games actually hit the nail pretty close to the head with this one. Here's hoping they deign to fix some of the control issues (or even add controller support? Yeah?) more than half a year down the road. Gotta get those cheevos. Whether you're a dad or a mom or a significant other helping to deal with home duties like washing dishes, putting babies to sleep, fixing the plumbing, and, um...scaring away cultists...?...Angry Dad is a chuckle-worthy way to spend a buck or two or three and maybe an hour playing. Or more. Gotta get those cheevos.

  BEST	WORST
  The game knows what it is and doesn't try or price itself to be anything more than a short romp.	The controls, by far. Nothing game-breaking, but you're likely to find yourself facing 2 degrees in the wrong direction to interact with something, for example.
