Farworld Pioneers Funciones

Play with friends co-operatively or form hostile factions

In this open-world galactic sandbox, how you play is up to you! Bring your friends into the frontier in your own private server, or make new friends (and enemies) in large public multiplayer servers. Play peacefully in co-op, or use the dynamic multiplayer faction system to band together and split apart dynamically as allegiances change.

Build ships from scratch and travel to new planets

Your first planet is where you’ll learn to survive, but that’s just the start. Build your very own starship and use it to colonise new worlds. It won’t be easy, and only the most successful colonies will be able to pool the resources and knowledge necessary to break orbit. Once you launch, the stars hold brand-new planets, new biomes, bosses and challenges.

Craft, research, loot and exploit your environment

You’ll need to prepare to take on this hostile part of the galaxy. Get mining, farming, growing, developing, researching, and building hundreds of different items, from winter combat gear to advanced laboratories. Find something you can’t work out for yourself. Strap on your handcrafted laser rifle and venture out into the unknown to explore dungeons, procedural bases, NPC stores and much more.

Defend what you’ve built, or take on the galaxy

Defend your colony with fast-paced combat that utilizes physics like bullet drop, projectile speed and spread. Thwart enemy raids on your base with your stock of handcrafted grenades. Tired of just defending? Lay waste to enemy bases with destructible terrain as you wield everything from rusty old carbines to nuke launchers and energy weapons that harness the power of lightning!

Develop and construct advanced bases for protection

Grow from a tiny outpost into an advanced, nuclear-powered fortress. Manage resources carefully and choose research paths based on the items and challenges you encounter on each planet. Watch out, though: the bigger your colony gets, the more of a target it becomes for raiders (and jealous friends).

Automate work and train up a team

Even out here, you’re not alone. Save AI survivors and build a colony together. A range of unique stats, perks and flaws mean every colonist has something different to contribute. As your AI colonists complete tasks they’ll level up and get smarter, stronger and faster. Best of all, you can assign tasks and orders to NPCs to do the grunt work for you and prioritize their roles based on those skills. Want to take a break from mining to destroy an underground alien nest? Let your colonists handle that for you!

And Remember

Your ship may be in ruins, your ammunition running low, and your teammates scattered across the surface, but remember this:

You’re more than just another adventurous spirit.

You’re a Farworld Pioneer.

No there's no improvement since the demo, the colonist are as dumb and useless as they where. Unless they are exactly on the floor the stations or garden is on, they will just stand about uselessly as they are too stupid to path find properly. They are also too stupid to figure out how to use a hatch and so on. Want to like this and give it a chance, but this just feels exactly like the demo, with no improvement where it was severely needed. You dare leave your base to do something and raiders will kill everyone in your colony because they have more HP and damage resistance even though your colonist wears better gear and uses better weaponry. Raiders are probably one of the worst aspects of the game like they tested it with a full MP server instead of testing to see if Solo was manageable which it isn't. Solo, don't bother having a colony you'll lose it instantly, because the raiders are not balanced. It's a snowball effect and your supposed to be exploring, yet the game punishes you hard if you do. This game needs another year it feels like amateurs made the game and only took in consideration the multiplayer side and completely couldn't be bothered to balance at all. Wasted potential, don't waste your money, wait another year maybe. So far doesn't look like they are in a hurry to do anything nor patch it. And one of their achievement comes off as an insult to players that bought it that mocks you for playing over two hours.

Seemed like a interesting blending of mechanics of colony sims with Terraria kinda but the execution seems poor at game launch with AI getting stuck on minor objects, not grabbing from storage, some of my colonists literally walking outside and freezing to death instead of staying inside to be warm much to my bafflement. Maybe worth revisiting with some updates to fixing some issues.

I've been following development for years now and played the demo up until they took it down the first time last year I think. I decided to wait and play the game at launch rather than keep playing through all the different iterations. That being said I have several hours in different versions of the demo/beta but not in 1.0. It really pains me to say that this is a let-down. If this were being launched into Early Access I would be more forgiving but this is by far not a 1.0 product even at this price. The primary issue during development has always been the colonist AI and it has not improved much at all since way back when this game was called Offworlders or something. Colonists can't figure out how to use ladders, platforms, or stairs and often times wander around aimlessly or get stuck in the environment until they just pass out from exhaustion. There are constant notifications that people are starving despite food being available and more than a few times I had crafted items vanish and then reappear while colonists were working at a bench. I'm not sure if it's an issue with them transporting items from one storage to another but it resulted in a lot of wasted resources and time early on for me. It's a shame because everything else about the game (UI, graphics, sound, combat, etc) all feel MUCH better than when I played it previously and I could see this game being fun in multiplayer but ONLY if you minimize using your colonists since they get in the way. This is supposed to be a colony sim game though and with the one mechanic that makes this game stand out from others in the genre being completely broken I can't recommend it in this state. What's worse is that this has been a persistent issue from day one. I would have thought the devs would have at least sorted out the issues with colonists and ladders/stairs. If they couldn't get the AI working they should have limited the colonists in some way and made them placeable NPCs or something. Having people constantly passing out because they got stuck on a platform or starve because their pathing got them lost is just annoying and makes what could be a fun game tedious when you're going around removing/replacing buildings so that your colonists can get to their bed or something.

This is not a 1.0 release. Should've stuck to Early Access instead. Personal issue - the game's landscape isn't detailed enough, background looks nice and all, but the ground itself looks like it's from 1.0 version of Terraria. AI is kinda dum dum, doesn't know where to go, thinks too slow, get stuck, so i really hope it gets fixed. Also i've been dropping into blocks for some reason, not a pleasant experience to dig your way out of the cave you wasn't supposed to fall through. Really hoping this game will not get abandoned like Starbound, because the potential is here and it's massive. I can already see the good foundation of colony management, task assignment (which is really Dwarf Fortress/Rimworld-esque) and all sorts of different stuff. The UI might seem a bit unfriendly at first but you will get used to it fairly quickly. TLDR? Wait a couple of weeks/months/half a year, depending on how the development will go. I am rooting for you, devs, and you have all the support from me and the rest of the community to push through the problematic release. Unfortunately, as of right now, i can not recommend buying this game even with a 10% discount. I'll change the review once the patches will roll out. Best of luck, Igloosoft.

I like the game but it's very buggy at the moment, would suggest buying it after a few patches.

Seeing a lot of unfair reviews here, admittedly the game is clunky and they should not of labelled it a 1.0 release. Yes AI is a mess and your colonists need hand holding. However a lot of comments are saying X feature is not included and I am baffled as they are, its clear a lot of people have not figured out the UI yet or certain features. Can I recommend the game at this moment in time? Answer is no unfortunately, but I urge people to put it on their watch lists or even buy the game to support the Devs so they can continue developing it into a great game we all want. With some polishing this does have the potential to be a great little game with many possibilities with regards to content updates and a lite version of Rimworld for those that find that too complex. Overall its a game to watch and one that's not half as bad as some of these "Reviews" suggest.

I do not recommend this game in it's current state. There are way to many bugs. This is some of the broken stuff i have found from playing the game for about 3 hours (Yes i have 6 hours ingame, but the first 3 hours was trying to host a multiplayer game. But that was broken on launch.) - Tooltips are broken and just annoying. They do not appear most of the time. - Colonists walk outside of the house and freeze to death during snow storms for no reason. - Colonists are starving while there's a lot of food in the stockpiles. It seems like they a lot of the time don't register that there actually is food there. - Colonists fall through the floor/ground. - Colonists doesn't want to go down and mine if you dig just a little bit too far down. - Colonists constantly complain about not having a weapon, but they don't pick up weapons/clothes/armour from the stockpile themselves, you have to manually go to everyone and give them everything. - The first boss is really bad and just confusing. You're just stuck there wondering "What am i supposed to do now? Is this even a boss or an enemy?" It doesn't have a healthbar or anything implying that you're doing progress on killing "it". - There's invurnerable snails that can damage you. - A machete deals a lot more damage than bullets. - If you place ladders and pick up some again, they don't stack with the old stack, so now you have two different stacks of ladders. Congratulations :) - Even with a lot of radiators in the house, your colonists freeze to death while sleeping. - Sometimes torches give a lot of heat around it, it can go from -20C to +40 from one torch in an instant, and sometimes they give no heat. why? Dont ask me, i have no idea. So yeah, i do not recommend this game right now, but maybe it will be good in the future.

Really looking forward to this game and very disappointed. The AI is so bad you have to spend all your time babysitting them cause they dont do anything they should or try really hard to get themselves killed. Beside the AI being so bad everything else i like but the AI is just so bad that it makes it bad. Fix the AI and the game will be great and i will change this review.

I love Starbound and have over 600 hours in it. I have been looking for games that scratch the same itch for a while. This is a gorgeous game with stellar music and plans for robust mod support in the future, so it looked really promising, but I cannot recommend it in its current state. Learning that there are only two planet types to explore is a bit of a let down, but at least there seem to be two more types in the works. Building is straightforward and the menus are pretty good, though I did encounter some UI bugs. The colonists are the most integral part of the game... but the AI is horrendous, which is quite frustrating, especially when you're playing solo and they're your only support. There's nothing like watching your colonists go stand outside in a blizzard and freeze to death unless you cancel all work orders outside, or repeatedly climb and drop down a ladder taking 1/4 of their health in fall damage. You can get endlessly spawn camped by raiders pretty early on if you don't rush to make a house and get a second colonist, which was what happened to me on my first start. How the game determines "shelter" is buggy and inconsistent, resulting in you and your colonists freezing to death even next to a campfire in a full home. There's instances of standing on the edge of blocks and vibrating rapidly, getting stuck in blocks, etc. I luckily did not experience the worst of the bugs like world and save corruption, but it is unacceptable that save-destroying bugs are encountered and reported as frequently as they are. This is not a 1.0 release, and I would wait a few patches minimum to buy it, or just go play it on PC Gamepass if you can't wait. I deeply wish it had been released in EA, because then I would know what I was getting into and could forgive a lot of this stuff, just like I did with Starbound. 😔

Will be a great game eventually im sure, atm it is quite buggy. Im having a hughe problem with ground appearing and dissapearing, usually sorts itself out when relogging but quite annoying when i just fall through the ground or my base is suddenly filled with earth and all the npc's get stuck in it. I would reccomend it for the future after some patching has been done. Changing this to a negative, just fell through the ground, slammed into the ground very far down, died and my bag is lost. All my items are naturally there, woopidoo, this is shit and completely gamebreaking, bad AI is a small annoyance in comparison.
