This game could be renamed "Bone-doesn't-works." I don't like to be negative about one guy dev teams making little VR games, but this "game" was particularly unfinished and janky to the point where I don't think anyone should buy it or play it in its current state. The Good: -Some creative ways to make your body a weapon, like literally shooting your finger which flies off and becomes a projectile. It was also pretty creative how you slow time, deciding the speed with a hand gesture and how far apart you have your hands. -It's great to actually fight human guys in suits. No giant hot dogs, no weird pagan wizards, no robot ninjas, no wire frame zombies or red glass polygon men. Just plain guys in modern suits. My #1 goal in VR is to feel like I'm in some combination of The Matrix and John Wick (Max Payne probably the closest any flat game ever got for me). It's nice to actually have enemies that look like human beings that exist in action movies. -Clearly the dev understands what would be fun to do in VR and attempted to make an experience incorporating a lot of those things. Can't knock him for trying. The Bad: -Nothing works. From the janky "finger tracking" (and I use that term generously here), inability to hold weapons, gestures rarely working when you need them too (Except the time slow, that one works great), and bad guys clipping and flailing and barely able to move without having a glitchy freakout...it's a mess. It's almost a "so bad it's good" thing. Looks like something Dunky would play just to make up of how ridiculous some of the glitches look. This is the earliest of early access. They say a lot of VR games are just "tech demos," and to a degree they're not wrong. But something like Blade and Sorcery is very tech demo-y, but still is fun to play for hours because the mechanics are so great and well executed. This game doesn't need to be some AAA masterpiece, but if it was the exact same game but with the mechanics/physics/performance of B&S I would love it. Flying around in slow motion kicking Mr. Smiths in the head would be awesome. But it's barely possible to even move around in this game. -The enemies get cool realistic looking guns. I'd really prefer having some cool realistic looking guns over cartoony Minecraft axes and my own finger. I was so expecting there to be guns in the drawers or lockers. Nothing. -Sure seems like someone watched that Boneworks demo 100 times (like we all have) and said "well I'll take a crack at this!" It's very reminiscent of it in tone, visuals, and (attempted) mechanics. -Too many enemies at once. The game doesn't run particularly well (I have a 2080 ti and i9 9900k, for reference), so I am curious why it was decided to have 19 guys come at you at once, especially when they all just turn into a flaling glitch pile the second you swing your fist into them. If the physics and colissions and everything worked perfectly, then it would be cool (cue Matrix Revolutions bowling pin sound as I throw these dudes into each other). But as it stands, it's just making a bad situation worse. It's literally day 2 of Early Access for this game, and day 2 of even having an Index. So maybe it will greatly improve in the future. But in the current state, it's very very far from even a pre-Alpha for the bare framework of what is set up at this point.

Ive played this game for just over an hour and and so far it has been a very unique and fun VR game to experience. Using your fingers and hand gestures to do different attacks is very fun (especially the rocket punch). But I do find it difficult to use all the gestures, they seem very bipolar when they want to work and when they dont work even if i have max mana (for example turning off flight is incredibly difficult and i resort to flailing my fingers around on the controller until i can walk again.) Maybe having it so every time you click a gesture in the menu it shows you exactly how to do it step by step. Other than that the combat and destruction is very fun.

this game is absolutely complete and utter garbage. It's as if the developer played blade and sorcery, saw the monetary potential, and thought they could create a horrid version of sheer vr perfection. Honestly its just as low of a creation as those crappy android clones of gta 5. The worst part is how money grubby this is, knowing full and well this free unity sourced copy coding of a garbage game was rushed to be one of the first knuckles games. Utter trash, plain and simple. I hope the developer reads this and sheds a tear so they understand people wont pay for no content lying trash!
