  Oirbo is a fantastic Metroidvania platformer. The controls are solid, the artwork is perfect and the sense of exploration is great. There's no hand holding, you're straight into the action and left to figure out the world for yourself. Highly recommended! Edit: I'm playing the game on Steam Deck and it works flawlessly!

  A fun little platformer with an adorable main character and an interesting world that unravels as you explore it. The story is told through images alone, which is a unique way of showing the narrative as it unfolds.

  Only have about 2 hours in so far, it's been pretty fun with some challenging little things to figure out. Got a bit frustrated with the first boss, mostly because I was impatient. So far a fun little platformer type.

  Really interesting and fun gameplay. Has alot of "Souls-like"aspects that makes me want to continue playing it over and over again. The movement itself feels super free and responsive. The design of the game itself it's super fresh since the "no-text" experience is an adventure to go through, makes you think on what you have to do next, instead of defaulting to reading. Bosses feel hard, but always have a good exploit system to them, forcing you to learn, instead of brute forcing them with some hidden power.

  Oirbo might look like a cute robot but this is a hard metroidvania with plenty of bosses, areas, secret spots and lots of hours of gameplay! It's a hidden gem in this genre.

  I'm about three hours in and with three upgrades, and I'm enjoying the game a lot! The character is super cute and the environments feel very alive and clean despite only being inhabited by robots. Gameplay is very similar to other metroidvanias, with a lot of exploration, upgrades, health increases, maps you have to find, boss fights, a story you piece together (I really like that it has no text, only animations, and the same applies to the menus), it has all of that done in a very polished way. The platforming is very solid and fun, and enemies and boss fights are very challenging, I'm experienced with platformers and I died a lot, but I was always motivated to try again! So if you're looking for an even harder Hollow Knight, this is it.

  Great platformer with amazing graphics and music. A impressive world design with great controls, however sometimes a bit frustrating when you miss that last jump or die to the boss to many times a little like Celeste, where you need to learn how to play and explorer instead the game doing everything for you. A rewarding experience but nevertheless a relaxing one for everyone.

  Love the art and environment, the controls are responsive and the platforming is tight. I do feel that it's too hand off and easy to get a bit lost and overwhelmed. But given that it's early access it gets a pass. The developer seems active and quick to respond to issues, so I'm hyped to see what comes out after the early access!!!
