One media that allows us not just to submerge ourselves in the stories of war but to be a part of it is video games.

It may be the only media that allows you to direct the soldier whose tale you are watching and make choices based on your knowledge of what is morally good or wrong in a given situation. For many years, war games have dominated the video game industry. War games sold well even when all video games were 8-bit or 18-bit, and players adored playing them. The ability to make captivating war games with fantastic gameplay and unique storylines about the reality of war and what it is truly like to be on the battlefield has significantly increased throughout time as visuals and game development have advanced.
