  An impressive action rogue-like top down shooter that shouldn't be over-looked especially at such a low price point! This game oozes both quality and "fun"! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wQS_EE4ngM I love this game people, and the developer(s) should win some kind of award for offering a high quality gem here on Steam for such a low price. Gamers everywhere win with great indie options like this game available at such a great value. MY SCORE: An impressive 95% right out of the box here on early access launch day! If you love games like "Vampire Survivors", you are sure to love this little gem as well! For $3 USD, you really can't go wrong!

  A very tight entry into the 2D Retro pixel styled Action Roguelite Bullet Hell genre, with an active developer making the EA aspect appealing for a change

  Circle strafing like an insane person used to entertain me no end when this genre opened up. The popularity of the likes of Vampire Survivors confuses me though due to the insanely repetitive and cloned nature of all the titles on offer. Finally though, we have a true contender to the throne which in my opinion was held by Crimsonland until now. The demo release during a recent Steam Festival had me hooked. Using a clever integration of a tower defence aspect, one protects a convoy truck while using your XP upgrades and money from said truck to improve both your player character and your 4 towers lining the deadly passage these brave (mad?) truck drivers need to endure. <*>The action is clean and satisfying. <*>The Rogulite upgrade aspect is clear and has meaningful and immediately effective choices <*>Graphics style and sounds/music aesthetics are unique and quite lovely <*>Frustration vs Reward is a good balance with that very moreish sensation, just...one...more. <*>Works well as a pickup and go game <*>Early Access developer actively pays attention to and discusses suggestions.   Fun and addictive, made me want to try just once more for 3 hours so far! A creative variation on a popular genre nowadays. Totally recommended.

  Game is very unbalanced and not fun at the moment. Will revisit later, but EA shouldn't be used as an excuse to release a game that a player can't accomplish any objectives without hours of investment into slow roguelite elements. A few specific things for devs to work on: - It is hard to tell the difference between some of the enemies as there is no color differentiation. - There is no intuitive understanding in how much damage and what roles the different towers play. - The landscape cover is relatively useless with enemies coming in from any place off the map, this needs to be more tactically thoughtful. - There is no recovery chance once you lose a convoy, that portion should be repeated or just give it a game over as it is not possible to progress at that point. - later levels are unplayable with difficulty scaling, just lock them - There needs to be more variety than point and click, not even a sprint or shield? really? Don't say the axe is a part of the game as you use it once and it is on cooldown so long you forget it exists. - Zero drops in game other that 1 possible coin and the copied xp gems - Overall feels like a cashgrab at this point unless there is significant gameplay balancing and creative input. Will give another chance in the future, but hold off on this game for now. Also, to the reviewer who said this feels like a final product, did you even try it?

  I agree with many other reviewers that this game is currently very, very hard and not balanced properly. However, this game is also fun and has potential. Normally, I hate it when people review a game because it "has potential". I might normally rate a game like this one as slightly leaning towards not recommended. But if you take a look at the discussions on the Steam forums for this game and see how eager and quick this developer is to listen to and implement player feedback you'll realize that this game is likely going to be well worth the price. At the time of this review I would not say this game is a "must buy", but I still feel like it's worth picking up if you're okay with risking $3. I'm not usually a gambling man, but this feels like a bet worth taking.

  Tower defense aspects fail to scale with enemy health, enemies target you or the convoy seemingly at random, everyone's bullets are the same color, there's only one weapon and one special and their base cooldowns are laughably long. Hopefully EA provides direction and a chance to add sophistication to the mechanics, because at present there's nothing here that can't be found better elsewhere.
